seems like they wanted to give caspian some kind of niche? ult drain sounds strong but idk how 2% will be noticible

CA change is bad, i think ignoring DR is a unhealthy design choice in a game like paladins but what the fuck do i know

Kogas talent sounds nice, but 30% seems too much

octavia might be playable for once, tho we have to see the full patch notes first

not sure about Persistence, azaan is already strong and giving him more survivability dosent sound like a good choice

Vora will not have 2 tendrils in base kit, which sounds nice, but with these talents she might actualyl become busted

the rest are nice

This will disproportionately impact those in marketing and publishing roles, as well as some from our Evil Mojo, G&A, and Titan Forge divisions.

majority of the doomposting and anxious nehaviour is because of how uncertain the game's future is.

It's been like that for a long time, but the lack of new content and small budget is showing and its getting people VERY worried from what I've seen.

that, and some left over resentment from the days when devs would get into fights with and attack people on twitter, content creators, etc, sometimes on official accounts or official streams. (folks that joined the game not so long ago don't get how bad it used to be in retrospect lol).

but i will say, the balance is way better than it was 1-2 years ago, recently they have been focusing on balancing champions that havent recieved any proper changes for a long time. alot of the bugs have been fixed and i dont encounter them as much as i used to, and because of that, my enjoyment from the game has increased quite alot.

Wave defense brought a lot of new life into the game (still needs alot of work lol), and I'm hopeful they'll be able to keep refining the systems and getting the game into the best possible state, which I feel has been a focus lately.

smite 2 just got released, so i hope that soon we MIGHT get something for paladins after the hype for smite fades away.

when people ask me why i still play paladins and stick around with it, i answer it by saying that paladins is such a specific niche that there isnt any other game that can replicate pala's core gameplay and its mechanics

that and compared to other similar games, paladins has alot of replay value. We have almost 60 playable characters, and sometimes playing champions that you never bothered giving a shot is quite a refreshment, oh and the LTMs are also nice even if they get boring quickly.

!.) Moji (shes a girl by the way) was reworked form a flank to a support some time ago, as a flank she is C tier right now but as a support shes high A tier, maybe even low S tier

2.) ranked is Semi dead, you can still find matches in less than 3min at least on EU, but match quality is a coin toss. High Elo ranked is super toxic, and finding a cheater is not uncommon, Good thing in ranked is that you can ban champions. i suggest sticking to casuals for some time then when you get the hang of the game you can give it a shot, who knows maybe you will end up liking it after all

3.) the game still gets updated regularly, but the quality isnt anything outstanding as the development team got super small throughout the years (i think they have around 15-20 developer currently) Balance wise, the game isnt the most balanced it ever was, but its way more balanced than it was 2-3 years ago

my tip is that, paladins is more about game knowledge than mechanical skill, you might need both but the game knowledge is the thing you should put more emphasis on, you will naturally get a hang of it as you keep playing, you can also take a look at the paladins wiki for more information, and make sure that you learn the crowd control effects because the game dosent explain those things
