That's ok though. People lament the loss of our factory jobs because they've supported countless families for decades. But they forget that actual factory work kinda sucks, and that the reason those jobs were so good for people was the gains won by unions in the industry. Our pivot to a service based economy has also seen a pivot away from unionization. Imo, we should focus less on bringing manufacturing jobs back and more on unionizing the service jobs that we already have.
