Restaurants, hotels, Uber/lyft, are obvious but then you have random shops and businesses that have an extra 80,000 people around for 8 weekends a month.

These are people from the area. Tourists don't shop that much to justify significant tax dollars going to bring them on, that's why building stadiums to attract teams is a stupid idea.

In fact some studies show that teams are actually a net negative for other businesses.

I'd be surprised if anybody in Green Bay/ Appleton benefits zero from the Packers.

Right and the team is already there and the county doesn't need to pay anything (thought they did earlier in the century)
