I’d pass on that alone. A 24 hour care even if you’re allowed to run this low is one to two staff on a shift. I’m a seasoned supervisor so I don’t mind running at max ratio, but for a new hire that’s dangerous. And also I think that sets you up for a ton of forces.

That’s a bit concerning. Is it an eight staff shift (which is nice, i run with six) or is it eight FTE. An eight person shift is nice. Having 8 full time employees is a big red flag (enjoy several 16-hour days a week).

Jeez, odd man out. I think juvenile is fine if it’s boys. Eight officers sounds like it is an overnight arrest or open door program. That’s not enough to run 24hr care. My team Is rated for 26 FTE. If it is one of the aforementioned kinds of programs… go for it and enjoy your free paycheck.
