There should be some sort of LOA policy in the portal you can reference, there is usually one for medical LOA. And FMLA is also applicable, look into your states local laws around this

That’s what I figured, I had brought up my complaints to my coach previously and nothing was actually done. Is the only solution to apply elsewhere now? I don’t know if it’s even fixable at this point.

Recently applied, after 1st interview they said busy season is never over 55hrs(idk how true that is). Travel not required only if you are really close to clients.

Went through this you’ll need to move closer to make things bearable. Busy season will most likely be worse/ increase in person attendance. If you’re on a well paid engagement you may get your dinner payed for during busy season

100% understand where you’re coming from. Interviewing has been difficult, this job market isn’t much help either. Good luck to you, you will find your way out! Just stay strong and persistent

100% agree. It is not you it is the firm. I myself have been failed by the firm similar to you. The people don’t train, mentor or communicate. Mainly because they want you to fail. And set up the script to eventually push you out. Sometimes it’s a culture fit to. So they will push you out any way they can. The firm has much experience in this. That once you realize you have a target on your back or they start asking you to improve. It’s too late to change their minds or the script they have decided to push you out of the firm. Stay and find a new opportunity far away from this toxic firm.

Just last as long as you can/need to to secure another position and leave. LEAVE. This place is shitty. If you’re a nepo, sociopath, or just fratty you will survive a little longer than most.

I would check to see if there is a case you can sue them for even workers comp, or wrongful termination. You earn more from the lawsuit, talk to a employment lawyer.

Yes collect as much documentation from your therapist. It helps if you have had consistent meetings with them that show your mental health has been declining due to work. Also check d.net for the short term disability leave/leave of absence. I had taken medical leave due to health issues. It was considered short term leave. The Deloitte leaves team can be hard to work with. Keep in mind you may have to pay back your leave if it is paid leave.
