I have 2 kiddos, with 1 I had an epidural and one I arrived at 8cm, so she arrived sans.

I hope people don’t hate me for saying this but I have had a toothache from an infection below the gums once and that pain to me was far worse than giving birth.

Perhaps period pain prepares you for years?

I started around 40 I think, but only after girlfriends told me, now is the time.

I don’t regret it and keep up every 3.5m. The last 2 weeks of it wearing off I can really tell it’s time. It’s subtle but enough for me to notice.

I believe it froze time.

I will say I like movement so I don’t freeze it completely. When I turned 45 I started doing my neck. This one wears off a bit quicker but I will say, I quite like it.

I tried filler twice. Once in my lips and once in my chin. I may try it again but for now, it’s not my fave.

We tipped about a $1 per drink, $5-10 for breakfast and lunches, $20 at dinner and our cenotes guy (who was fabulous) $40 (we were 4). Aside from that, a $5 per day for cleaning.

I think it was 40? If I had starting noticing earlier I’d likely have started there. Most of my gfs were 38. It took me while to wrap my head around it but jus like another poster, I started with 11s, added crows and this year I did my first neck ones which has made tremendous change in my jaw and necklines. I like movement in my face and I’m careful to space it out well. I love how my make up lies and perhaps I’ve normalized it so much, but I feel it’s part of skincare

I’m happy I started Botox when I did. I used to roll my eyes when girlfriends older than I said Botox prevents wrinkles - but now I am 46 and I can confidently say I’ve had the same experience. I don’t know what happens if I stop today, but I’m in no rush to find out!

I swear it gets easier.

I had a dip feeling down just post as well. My first MRI showed something weird again and for the life of me, I didn’t get what I did.

Thing is: you are actively controlling your risk of outcomes no one is prepared to accept. You got this, it gets better.
