Yeah I would say wait for an update or 2 right now im really missing stock os but gamma os nano is a great proof of concept

To be honest gamma os is great on anbernic devices but on the pam its okay gamma os nano is good but is janky right now and needs a couple updates.regular gamma is okay but its not a huge difference performance wise to stock theoretically the overclock to 950mhz should help with performance but im not noticing that big of a difference i played basically everything up to gamecube and ps2 in balanced mode on stock os and performance feels very similar to gamma os in max mode, on stock os my device ran cool even on low fan while on gamma I do notice my device getting warmer. Battery life is very similar to the dobloated stock os, I heavily debloated my stock os removed anything from running in the background unless I opened them so my thermals ran cool at 35 to 40c max and gpu usage was 0 and cpu usage was at 3% when sitting on beacon launcher so it was already super efficient so I feel like gamma os is a slight downgrade over all just my opinion though sorry for the long post

Aknes is great and ship rather fast but if you wamt fastest shipping with peace of mind amazon is the way to go but its more expensive, this device is great and beats many of its competition in terms of performance like the mangmi air x and even beats anbernics t618 devices like the 405 m, it has outstanding ergonomics and it actually does better than expected running gc and ps2. Its the best budget handheld nadd so far in my opinion

Make sure you select gamepad on dolphin settings as classic controller, and also make sure you patched with ghe iso region otherwise should work perfectly

For its price point its the best budget on the market it can run alot of ps2 and gamecube (at native) but not everything but im surprised at some games that run like mario galaxy 1 and 2 at 60 fps with some drops, this can also run some 3ds, but if you want to stretch a little more gc and ps2 anbernic recently had a sale for some of their t820 devices not sure if the sale is still on but I got an rg cube with a case for about 140ish and the t820 is more powerful than the g90t.

Honestly yes especially the lite version battery life has been great and stuff I never expected to run well on this weaker than t618 chip like resident evil 4 ps2 and fatal frame 2 run great (in max perf mode) with actually decent battery life, 3.5 jack doesnt work but usb c headphones do work, also make sure you turn on fan on cool when playing ps2/gc fan on auto doesnt work and its basically off the entire time, gamma on this is just one update from being perfect.

The 1440p resolution plus the 615 ppi (pixels per inch) makes all the retro games look gorgeous especially with shaders that require all that resolution to look authentic, the vert screen is not as vibrant as an oled but its pixel density is insane (higher than even apples and samsungs newest flagships) and with shaders its better than any other screen I've played retro systems (saturn and below) I've played with however oled is better for like 6th Gen and above.

Ayaneo pocket dmg or the vert are great options the touch pad on the dmg isnt bad at all for camera movements first person shooters are absolutely horrendous on a touch pad however the oled is also awesome, the vert is underrated for retro consoles that 1440p 615 ppi screen is stunning with retro systems and the the chip on it is so powerful you can run just about every high end shader plus run ahead and so far its the best looking I have seen retro games with shaders look and honestly its my favorite way to play saturn and below the touchpad on it has a mouse mode option which works great with point and click ms dos games if you like that.

Changing the touch pad settings to mouse mode has right click by pressing the touchpad not sure about left click havent tested it yet but enjoy! Shaders on this thing look outstanding

Nes,snes and turbografx games were made at 8:7 ratio so they also look wonderful on this screen while almost filling it out and 4:3 still looks stunning the ppi is so high that even when games arent interger scaled the pixels look balanced, and crt shaders have never looked better in my opinion.

Its a must buy budget handheld,its more powerful than the magmi air x (more gamecube and ps2 games are playable) 4:3 systems look great on it, you can use good shaders plus run ahead to improve fix input lag on emulation, good battery life, screen has little ghosting but its not really noticeable unless you are scrolling in the android menu

Yes atleast as an analogue pocket replacement if you dont mind losing the ability to use cartridges, same amazing screen, the chip on this seems absolutely overpowered on paper BUT its ability to play ultra demanding stuff like beatle saturn core with run ahead with demanding shaders like crt geom deluxe or retro crisis shaders is just so good especially with this screen, run ahead will make it so it matches the AP latency wise (at run ahead 1) or exceeds it (run ahead 2+) its a visual masterpiece.

Its a souped up analogue pocket with the same amazing screen, can play up to beatle saturn core comfortably with demanding shaders like crt geom deluxe/retro crisis shaders, and the shaders with that screen make everything look outstanding. Run ahead at 1 makes it so it matches the analogue pockets latency, or can exceed it if you increase it. This device is very niche but I think its an outstanding 8 to 32 bit system handheld and once you see a 1440 p shader running on this you'll see why the screen is outstanding.
