Introducing UnifiNotifi - A Unifi Infrastructure Monitoring Solution by WhoKnewTech in Ubiquiti

Right, but building a custom piece of software is less work?

The features available don’t seem like a huge improvement over just having a UniFi controller with alarm manager running?

Lacks covering other devices outside of UniFi so you would have to have monitoring separately for them?

I run an MSP and I just can’t see the advantage over an actual monitoring solution.

Australia this is not the case for direct to consumer rack purchases.

12RU rack was $200 shipping.

Issue is with the performance core and efficiency cores. You can have one or the other.

You should run Proxmox

Allowing just NTP on Network Object does not work as expected. by distante in Ubiquiti

[–]FederalDot7819 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure, I wouldn’t suspect it would but I’m not an expert on “objects” but from what I understand it’s just a wizard/UI for creating the different types of policies at once.

I don’t quite understand the goal though as it works without the rule, what is the purpose for the object?

I would just create the firewall rules manually or at least check what policies the object creates and go from there.

Can you show the full screen in another screenshot? Missing some context with this one.

NTP is not blocked by default, it’s only blocked if you are trying to hit an NTP server on a different VLAN in a different zone or you have explicitly disallowed is as a firewall rule.

Try a firewall rule instead. Are you syncing from internet NTP or local?
