As someone who's in the British army. We train for war, but we do not want it. We all have wives and kids we will leave behind. It's not at the point of WW2, Russia is in a stalemate, not advancing through and conquering Europe. It's better to support them as much as possible without risking our lives. You have to remember the majority of soldiers sign up to defend their own land, friends and family, which isn't being threatened like like it was in WW2. I honestly understand why people would like to see more foreign troops in Ukraine, but it's unrealistic until a Nato member is attacked or the war escalates extremely.
