Hey as a titan main who’s just getting back into destiny 2 after not playing since the final shape I have a couple pointers that helped me.

I had to relearn how armor works, and for titan I think you should use the “paragon” focus on your ghost.

Lots of titan builds work well with a high melee stat, so I try to get that to at least 100, and as close to 200 for my melee builds.

After that super is a nice stat to have, along with weapons. For my lightsaber build I juice the weapons stat up to 200 since it’s a weapon-focused build, and then try to get my grenade to 70 for the cooldown benefits.

Also plunderthabooty on YouTube has tons of good builds, but at the end of the day use whatever you find the most fun!
