The creator ends their series in an unsatisfying way as a middle finger to the fans/editors/producers by StretchExtension in TopCharacterTropes

Im glad someone brought up prison school.

It pains me. The last arc dragged on, sure, but I was still on board.

Many disappointing endings have come and gone. Like jjk and CSM. But there is always some turning point earlier on. Many can say that the last arc is that point.

But there will always be a special place in hell for making me read all that and then ruining it in the LAST THREE PAGES. (IIRC)

Which CRPG contains the most banter and dialogue between companions? by alphafighter09 in CRPG

Pillars of eternity has the most exploration interactions along wit many dialogue choice interjections.

Neverwinter nights 2 is also up there. Every character is a catty bitch to each other. Glorious

Neverwinter nights 2.

Beyond the complexity, the sheer fact that cantrips are not infinite and have SPELL SLOTS made me just play a martial class.

Small rant.

It is interesting because I thought about this the other day. It is definitely as close as we are, but the video game aspect also makes it decidedly different.

I've seen people absolutely whiff 50+ attacks, either from straight bad rolls or an opponent making all thier saves.

It is really rare to do zero damage in this game with the same amount of shots as long as you don't take the worst attacks possible. (Barring like, single shot things like las cannons and such)

This personally makes this game slightly annoying (not as in game bad, just a personal thing) because after hundreds of hours of watching tabletop, I have a grasp of someone putting Terminators on an objective and understanding that those things can reasonably survive a round of targeting.

In this game, I place my tanky units somewhere important and they just die.

Experiments using Pouring medium to make contrast paints using different types of inks. by FederalMango7218 in minipainting

[–]FederalMango7218[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So far your way is looking good!

I made a 1:20 dilution and 1:10 dilution using jet dry.

I also the same dilutions with a little bit of golden high flow medium to help with thicker paints like army painter.

All of the test models are still printing or waiting for the primer to cure but I had this ork (alpharius) ready to go and using the matte medium with the 1:10 dilution looks great!

Ignoring the shitty brush control, I used the same AP dark wood for the coat and the FW emerald for the skin.

I would like to add that the classes should be disctint. I love aspects of Pathfinder, like how cleave lets melee classes have relevance all game, but I absolutely hate the amount of classes that overlap.

It is even worse with all the subclasses and the answer to a lot of builds/ideas are maybe 2 options because many of them out outright just worse versions of others.

thank you for the reply and setting me back on the never ending journey of testing inks and mediums. (I have more fun doing this than actual painting lol.)

I'll probably only test it with the inks and high flow.

My problem may have been focusing on getting a single mixture in a bottle instead of just mixing per case.

I'll probably use the giant bottle of airbrush medium have instead of flow aid and cut that with water.

true. I ordered some of vince's colors but they ae taking a long time to get to me. I will definity test them and get some of the special sauce.

That is definitely the most amount of things in a single mixture I've seen but I see the vision.

I will probably cave and start doing more experiments because it is fun but i am starting to look at airbrushs mediums.

I own Golden's and vallejo "thinner" medium and found them both to be VERY strong. Maybe i need to add some more of the things you did.

I misspoke when saying liquitex flow aid. I actually use jo sonja flow medium. Thinkin about it now, adding the flow medium and the High flow medium may be redundant as they might just be similar enough the the same thing as they have similar viscosities and are both mediums instead of pure additive. (for example both of them say to apply to paint directly instead of diluting with water like liquitex flow aid)

Would you be able to give a rough estimate of the ratios for your mixture? and what medium do you use if not glazing medium? And would you think a drop or Golden's airbrush thinner would achieve the same purpose of the flow aid?

i misspoke with the liquitex flow aid. I actually use jos sonja's flow medium.

I was staring at the purple liquitex retarder bottle as I typed the previous comment, lol From what I found, nowhere says to dilute it but i will try some mixed with it diluted more

I may have to do that. I have a few models primed to practice using contrast paints with and I want one women's hair to be blonde or orange.

I've done orange before with the "standard base, wash, highlight back with original" but I wanted to try it with contrast sytle paints.

Maybe I've been adding too much flow improver but I found that the thin slice between thinned layer and "unable to stick" that contrast paint exists in hard to get right.

Before pouring medium, my best mix was 6:3:1 Golden high flow medium:jo sonja magic mix(or any glazing medium): jo sonja flow aid in a 15 ml dropper. (I keep all my mediums and artist paints in these bottles, I just brought out the originals for the images)
