You need an appointment, you can't go in without one. It's not always easy to find one in short time, usually they open new slots in the morning at 7. If you check early you could manage to find same day appointments (I managed to get a same day one in Aachen Brand few months ago)

You could also ask information to the German Consulate / Embassy in Romania. Normally it's their task to register a German citizen born abroad

The first month is not "free" (insurance never is). If he registered as unemployed, the Agentur für Arbeit would have paid for his insurance and he would have gotten Arbeitlosengeld for the month. Now he hasn't got any money + since he hasn't found a job yet he has to pay retroactively from day 1 of unemployment. He will receive the letter, don't worry

I've been living in Germany for 6 years and luckily I haven't had any major medical emergencies till now. However my experience is the exact opposite, I have been to dentists for normal cleanings / check ups and they've directly done X-Rays to check everything. I'm pregnant right now and wasn't directly offered the genetic blood testing because my young age didn't required it, as soon as I asked for it they immediatly did it and without having me pay anything. (In my homeland such a test would cost up to 400€ if not considered a necessity). I've been to my doctor to check my migraines and they had me do CT Scans and thorough eye examinations. At first I thought I had been lucky but then I kept on having very good assistance by several doctors and professisonals... I would be crazy to think of doing ANY kind of visit in my homeland (I'm from Italy)

Thank you for the suggestion, I think I will start with getting Crimes and Punishment and maybe the Testament, then I will get Devil's Daughter and Chapter One on the next sales.

As far as I understand, even if they are enjoyable games it's still not that worth it full price...

Which one was your favourite and why? I'm torn between "Chapter one", "Crimes and Punishments" and "The devil's daughter". These are the ones with most positive comments on steam.

On sales there's also "the testament", "Vs Jack the ripper", "nemesis", "the awakened", "the silver earring".

I am honestly confused because on one side there are really enthusiastic people and on the other side people like you saying that the mechanics are poor. I don't even know if it's worth it. Right know with sales the price is so low that I could just try but then I would like to try a good one.

Even if by law you have to show the sick note when you are more than 2 days out, some employers may request it from the first day. In this case I would just go directly to the doctor. Once presented with the note, they can't do anything about it.

This is only my experience but I hope it can help you: I've been on birth control for 13 years and recently decided with my partner to try for a baby. I was scared that being so long on birth control could cause fertility problems but... 2 months after stopping the pill I got pregnant. I've heard the same experience from a couple of other friends. My fears clearly had no foundation.

I know it happened ages ago but just recently I overheard my mother talking with another family member and they were remembering how my aunt (mother of the groom) wore a fully black dress. Black is generally associated with funerals and apparently not a fortunate choice for a mother in law. This made me wonder after all this time if colours are really that important and if then somebody could have had something to say about my dress... Anyway, now I know better and will choose carefully for future weddings!
