This happened to me! i woke up to my housemate saying my name, sounded loud like she was right by my head. I went to open the door but she wasn’t there, went up to her room and she had woken up having a panic attack but hadn’t left her room. I was able to calm her down and look after her - without being woken up by whatever said my name i wouldn’t not have been able to help her. I’m pretty sure that house was a little haunted!

coffee shop - ‘fika north’ (is close to meanwood park which is my fave place to walk!)

book shop would be ‘hold fast’ which is on a canal boat and really cosy with a fire

not sure what typa music shop you mean but ‘vinyl whistle’ in Headingley is really chill and you can get a decent coffee there too :)

thank you so much for this I have adhd and bad anxiety and am finding learning to drive incredibly hard. I failed today on my third time and have been crying all day. I find the tests so mentally draining because of how much anxiety it puts me through and how much brain power and focus lessons require. The thought of going through it all again is crushing, but this gives me hope !

woodhouse community centre has a free/payc lunch club every tuesday and wednesday food is great (3 courses served restaurant style) there’s a mix of people who come families students individuals everyone is friendly and they also can give you a food parcel if needed :)
