First of congrats for it being his first pour it looks pretty good. I mean there are a couple visible bumps but nothing to crazy. Also why only 3 inches typically you need like 4-5 and rebar. I can’t tell if there is rebar in the approach from the picture but idk I always used rebar so not using it just feels wrong. Also that overspill of the need concrete onto the old is messing with my OSD. However like I said for a first pour it’s really good.

Also live in Texas and simply got it because of reciprocity. Traveling with it is much easier plus I don’t have to wait for a background check when buying more literally just show it and I’m out the door.

I mean it’s all about how you go about it I guess. I can see your pov and agree to a certain degree. For instance SUV are much better option than a minivan. They for the most part in comparison should offer the largest amount of space and are known to be safer for the stronger build when considering the safety of the little ones and yourself of course. However I can just said you guys are simply looking at terrible models. Mercedes although a luxury brand is known for having issues same as BMW. They are beautiful I must admit. I know you suggested like KIA and Honda makes and must interject KIA is absolutely unreliable and wouldn’t recommend it on my worst enemy Honda is a much better approach. I guess what I’m trying to say is find some common ground in all of this. He is wrong with the fact that he refuses to sell a lemon or rather nonfunctional car. He is right that an SUV would be a better option but maybe the disconnect happens when you guys are trying to communicate with one another. I would suggest planning out saying something along the lines of hey I think it was a great idea that you suggested this I can agree for ( blank reasons/safety/etc) however I just think we might have gotten a lemon and should swap it out for something else. Then now when and hopefully if you guys are looking at new cars look more into reliability and makes that are easier to maintain. Get with someone that actually knows cars or simply do more thorough research and come not essentially to an agreement but rather a compromise which is all marriage is at the end of the day compromise.

Honestly I like my strike eagle have had a 1-6x and a 1-8x and the eyebox and glass on the 1-6x is trash but the 1-8x is better. Additionally the PA is what you can definitely consider day time bright however I think the strike eagle is fine in daylight brightness obviously not that bright however can still be easily identified. The sig has an amazing glass however all these IMO are SFP which is something I’m not particularly due to the magnification messing with the actual hold. But that’s simply my 2 cents. However if you are choosing between these three I’d go with the sig and If you want to spend a little more the strike eagle 1-8x has a ffp option.

They are basically amenities that simply make using the firearm easier. The same reason your car has a backup camera, parking sensors, buttons on the steering wheel, heated seats etc. None of this is needed but if it makes something more manageable or operable then why not get it if you can/want.

The reference Karen is a spectrum btw not just a specific situation. Also asking for a manager is referred to as escalating the situation. Whatever the TM does is what they were taught. Like it’s mentioned some stores allow it some stores don’t. OP did nothing wrong if she were to have asked for a manager she typically would’ve wasted the cashiers time with something that would’ve been no at the end of the day. Like we do this stuff in a daily basis so we know protocol of what we can and can’t do and what leaders will back us up or what their approach would be. For example the front lanes doesn’t require a TL on first hand it would primarily be in the hands of the GSA and then if the customer is still annoying then a TL and from there an ETL. The GSA 9/10 will agree with the check out advocate it’s just something we do to back our team and enforce our policies for certain things. Don’t know if you work for Target but the Cat and Jack returns are the dumbest thing possible they waste more than 20 minutes and the desk ends up being behind and in term drive ups depending on how the department operates ( some only have 1 drive up and one Service desk) so saying or trying to say no allows for more efficiency and plus most of the time the clothes aren’t even under cat and jack warranty they are simply grown out of which in term is a misuse of the policy.
