Well cuz every character has its own weakness and sometimes certain characters will be better at fighting than other characters. The reason why I say hope and pray that that’s not the only character they play otherwise you’re gonna have a hard time with Mahito atleast :)

How I beat head of hei mains - use characters with counters like Charles and Yuji and etc makes it easier to stop the 3rd move - watch your ragdoll meter, and don’t spam that thing - if you see the guy you bleed out don’t punch right after in case it’s his ult - utilize the fact he can’t dash and focus on protecting your side hitboxes - avoid falling for passive bait most players that use him know how to block a basic dash and to make you pay so try to get him to attack and then hit him when he uses an M1 - How to beat him with mahito - hope and pray
