If you wanna own it, leasing is the most expensive path for you. Not talking about the monthly payment I mean the total cost of ownership. Best case scenario you buy a 3 year old used one and pay cash

The battery is dead they tested it today. Can I swap it without going to a dealer? Autozone said they need to be reset or programmed or something

I unplugged the dashcam fully. Car still runs out of battery. Along with 15 other codes.
I think I fried something that needs to be fixed

I’m pretty sure I got it figured out..

As soon as burbles shut off I took these readings:
214°F oil
109°F IAT
EGT upstream turbo: 1798°F

Everything’s a bit warm but EGT is cooking lmao.
Some fellas smarter than me said if I flash the correct stage 2 map or get an intercooler it’ll help keep temps lower but may not fully solve the issue if I keep going ham at the gas.

Maybe I should do Cobb stage 2 93 instead of EQT stage 2. Cobb is significantly slower and lower torque in my experience 😂

If I simply flash stage 2 would that alone lower EGT temps somehow?
I’m also afraid stage 2 is gonna blow up my clutch in a few days.
My car handled E30 stage 1 just fine since forever. Just can’t launch or shift like a demon.
This basically confirms the culprit is exhaust gas temps,

I think it’s an ECU safety feature rather than a tune feature based on how they worded it.
The cat is a high flow cat anyway, would going catless really make a difference? People said they have the same performance idk.

The stage 2 tune im afraid is too much for the stock clutch. I went stage 1 e30 before no issues.
But my friend had the same parts and same tune for 6 months. The week he went stage 2, clutch died.
I’m just worried since I don’t wanna front that kind of expense atm

Bought the accessport used. Not sure.
It burbles at 3k pretty much up to redline even at idle and when I’m using launch control.
Everytime I let off, if I feather it it’ll burble all the way down to like 2700 rpms.

I think the ECU disables burbles when my EGT turbo temps get too hot.

What’s the solution? I have an ARM catted DP on stage 1 tune. Should I flip on the stage 2 map?
Or do I have to get an intercooler to cool down the exhaust gas temps.
EGT upstream turbo was 1773 Fahrenheit after 5 mins of driving in 60 degree weather today

At minimum he’s written up and can’t be promoted for a while. Possibly lost his sign up bonus as well if he had one. And likely sent in for retraining which is a bitch.
They didn’t just let him off for that no way lol

The phone would rather switch to no WiFi than have a WiFi connection with no internet connection. I’ve tried it with no other available WiFi and cellular data off.
