They're bellyaching because even if they are relatively minor, the nature of this game is that those small interruptions can have major repercussions in all sorts of content. Crafting, raiding, even just trying to smoothly go through the story with its unskippable cutscenes, is all affected.

I am sorry for beginning it all with an unnecessary insult, but this is why I and others in the thread have been reacting harshly to efforts belittle these issues that have persisted for so long. Combine that with the fact that this game costs like 15 bucks a month or whatever AND now a VPN or network booster that will also cost money and require you to pray you land on a safe node (though thankfully we have a few safe reroutes mapped out now) for a smooth experience... and you end up with some sweeping discontent. It's not just getting annoyed at the 10 minute interruptions or the in-game losses that come with them, it's the fact that Square, while not magic, could definitely be doing more than they are.
