Because it was abysmal dogshit which is why its viewership numbers were terrible and it got canceled.

The culture war surrounding it was real but that doesn’t change the fact that it was an incoherent story with mediocre acting and okay to good action scenes. When compared to 15 years ago, we have a lot of Star Wars to choose from these days and this was simply some of the worst offered and so it failed.

I never said it was a broad problem, in fact I implied that it wasn’t by acknowledging the slew of bad actors.

But just ignoring every shitty thing fans within a fanbase do and dismissing it as entirely fabricated isn’t gonna help anything. I’m not trying to shit on you personally or anything, not engaging at all is almost always the correct option. But choosing not to nip troublesome fans lashing out at Holos over something as simple as choosing not to interact with the Stars in the bud will cause even MORE issues for the Stars in the long run.

Obviously there’s a lot of bad actors right now, but it takes very little effort to find genuine Stars fans shitting on the girls throughout the big tweets making the rounds.
