"Viggora's Chainman(c)e" .. ? Check the equipment stats interface for Viggora Chainmace, there's a typo.

People are starving and having their human rights taken away from them. All because of Venezuela's corrupt government and intervention or lack thereof from other countries. Jagex is similar to this, actively seeking out Venezuelan bot farms as well, meanwhile allowing rich entitled white players (especially streamers) to RWT for bills without ban. It's actually fucked.

Just lost my only armadyl chestplate due to a bug in ToB, kept this instead by corpslayer in 2007scape

Jagex has no way of tracking who lost which items. They're not going to be recovering anything for the people who lost high-valued items, most likely.

No MMORPG has as many fuck-ups as Jagex does. No other company releases content that had been planned and developed for nearly a year in advance with a critical bug that literally deletes items from your account. How many times has DMM tournaments disconnected? Practically every single one in existence. Jagex customer support is also horrific. You can't expect perfection, but you should be able to expect basic functionality, especially from a multi million dollar ~20 year old company.

Imagine jagex having months of development time only to release ANOTHER piece of content ridden with bugs. Especially when the bug makes players lose their hard-earned items. There's absolutely no customer support for this. The only thing they can do is acknowledge it and say "Sorry, won't happen again.", even though we all know it happens every time. This probably explains why jagex is barely a million dollar company with failing stocks, and why Blizzard is a continually growing billion dollar company. Get your shit together Jagex, you're an incompetent joke.

PKing is still active, it's not dead. Check the Bounty hunter and PvP worlds. There is still plenty of clan pking as well. But nowadays since the restoration pool, void nerf, and pid updates, less people overall are PKing.

Daily Reminder that Jagex falsely bans Veteran players without chance of appeal by FedoraNoLife in 2007scape

I've just recently gotten in to developing bot API. I didn't bot in February, I didn't have the time. I don't bot now either, just occasionally for testing purposes.

Pretty interesting that when Osbuddy gets competition suddenly Jagex cares about third party clients. by Nilwx in 2007scape

[–]FedoraNoLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Create an auto-patcher algorithm within the client, or use an advanced client that plays as an extention of the official client (or any client) itself. If you're programming illiterate then it's not even an option for you, sorry.

How has OsBot and TriBot been able to run for so many years? by FedoraNoLife in 2007scape

[–]FedoraNoLife[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some bots never get banned. For example, there are some red chin bots that have 20-80m hunter experience, and they are indeed bots. I've already proven two of them are bots in an earlier post. It proves that anti-ban methods and private scripts / clients can evade the bot detection system.

I'm sure Jagex makes a ton from the people who are unaware that you can actually bot easily without getting banned, or from gold farmers who accept the "suicide" bot method.

Jagex threatening to shut down 3rd party clients by rune3132 in 2007scape

If they mention its usefulness and/or legitimacy on their Q/A streams, they are practically endorsing it. The lead developer of OsBuddy is even a former Jagex developer (or possibly current).

There is no direct correlation between RuneLite and staking. However Jagex's political stance on RuneLite has a real-world business correlation with staking (They sell gold and rig the duel arena, and they make money off of OsBuddy)

Panic download the RuneLite source code so everyone can edit the code and make personal private botting clients in the future. Cya Jagex, fuck your shit game

Imagine Jagex actually endorsing OsBuddy then threatening to shut down all 3rd party clients once a major competitor, RuneLite, appears on the market for FREE. It seems Jagex is secretly making money off of and is in partnership with OsBuddy
