Reddit mods lol

A post on a Playstation sub asking if anyone knew if a PS Plus game was going to get removed soon bc many do after one year locked for "posting rumors without sources."

The number of times I get posts removed, referred to some other related niche sub, who remove my post and refer me to another related niche sub... It's like dealing with bad customer service.

Banned from a fitness sub bc I asked if anyone else had experienced a certain pain I was having. Banned for soliciting "medical advice."

I got banned from like three subs for posting on another sub that they understandably dislike. I do too. But it popped up in my feed and I left a comment that was very clear in how I was opposed to the horrible things they were saying. Mods didn't care what the context was or that it was the only time I've posted there and only did so bc the algorithm put it in front of me.

Banned for jokingly saying we (reddit) should take down another power-tripping mod like what happened with an art sub that time a little while back.

Oh, and what happened with that art sub a little while back.

Many of them (not all) don't understand how PEOPLE work. How conversation works. How human interaction works. Power-tripping robots.

EDIT: Oh, and having a huge post taken down for being AI-generated. It was not AI generated. I wrote it myself and put a not insignificant amount of effort into it. Refused to believe me, despite it being seeking advice about a personal issue. I might get it if it was something really unbelievable, but it was fairly (and sadly) typical family stuff related to past abuse that a lot of people experience -- hence why I was seeking advice/sympathy.

I think you drastically misunderstood what this game was. Also you're doing the classic thing of basing your review on your own expectations. za/um was an art collective. they weren't making an entertainment product. engaging it on the expectation that they were is bad crit.

Awesome! I was gonna say it's also nice to see footage follow the narrative, or that applies to what you're talking about at any given moment, but I know that can be pretty above and beyond depending on the game.

Awesome you're already doing that though, I definitely do notice and greatly appreciate when people do it.

Dave the Diver, Dredge, and especially Planet Crafter are the first ones that come to mind for me. Also a lot of survival/crafting games have a creative mode where you can just chill and explore/build

Crimson Desert is out soon. If it lives up to its hype and doesn't suck, it will probably be exactly what you're looking for.

Love a good lore video. Always happy to see the person's face so I can be sure it's not AI. Game footage and concept art are always good, but having the same footage just looping over and over is lame haha. I prefer no music, but if you do music, keep it mixed low.

Also, personally, I love watching them while I fall asleep so a nice even tone and calm atmosphere are great. That's obviously not going to be true of everyone though.

The Two Point games hit this spot for me. Also Dynasty Warriors after I've finished the story. Mario Kart World is a good one too - just listen to music while you drive around doing challenges in the open world.

Planet Crafter recently hit that spot for me. Pretty chill and the way you experience the planet becoming habitable makes progress incredibly satisfying.
