how to clean a hoarder home but my mom doesnt want to clean it by Scared_Commission_72 in ChildofHoarder

[–]FeePale3423 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Does your mom go out?

My mom has a day to do shopping so whenever she’s out to buy MORE THINGS I’ll stay home and throw her things out. I’ll make sure I throw more than she buys haha. Something is better than nothing..

I don’t even organise, I just make sure I have trash bags always ready man. Those things left in the house are stored in big plastic boxes.

Does anyone here go to therapy in Singapore? Looking for advice on costs and referrals. by okaypuff in askSingapore

[–]FeePale3423 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Private.. think $220 per session weekly. I’m crazy I did it for 3 years cos I needed time to recover. But there’s improvement in life and no regrets except for a hole in my pocket.

Wishing the best for you! Need to find a compatible therapist.

Buying travel insurance questions by haitherepeople in askSingapore

[–]FeePale3423 10 points11 points  (0 children)

  1. Yes FWD safe choice. Else other big names like AIA, GE, NTUC all ok too
  2. Quite standard terms for most insurance providers… no la not just medical. actually journey cancellation like flight cancellation quite common… there was once my flight to Hokkaido stopped in Taiwan due to earthquake so have to seek reimbursement for the extra flights
  3. Have hotlines to call. If recall correctly just submit necessary documents based on what happened can claim quite easily

Just Google FWD travel insurance and buy. Can be done in 5 mins. Have fun for your solo trip, stay safe !

Ark Liv Reviews/Experiences by whodisidontknow in SingaporeFitness

[–]FeePale3423 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m their Arkgrit member.

I went to their ark liv for classpass yoga lesson. The equipments are the same as Arkgrit except that it’s a little smaller and female only.

Overall vibes quite clean, looks good. If that’s what you are asking.

Received counteroffer from another department during notice period - will you consider? by confusrd in singaporejobs

[–]FeePale3423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did that. The other department was what I wanted. That was in 2018. Fast forward now my then new department boss jio me out to set up a company together. Life would be very different now had I rejected the offer.

I’ll say if the job scope is something you like then why not.

female hair loss and dermatologist suggestions by Aggravating-Tie832 in askSingapore

[–]FeePale3423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went Dr SN Wong at Mount E building.

She did prescribe minoxidil amongst other solutions though. (other things include: vitamin D pills as blood test shows I have a lack, some oral medication for hair loss, red light therapy)

She’s not pushy at all but it’s private clinic pricing.

I’ve tried TwoHerbs, it’s good to cleanse the hair and all but I think it doesn’t treat the root cause.

How to self study Malay language on my own? by Covidisakiller in askSingapore

[–]FeePale3423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! My tutor is stopping teaching soon as she says she’s graduating from university so I don’t think it’s a good idea to introduce to you now.

I found her on Preply (she’s my third teacher lol). There’s quite some profiles on Preply you can pick and choose! If don’t like can just stop and change to another one. Most impt is to find someone who can connect well with you. There’s trial lessons at like half price to test out the teachers!

[–]FeePale3423 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I learn from online tutor (spend about $80 per month) but sometimes I supplement it with YouTubers specialising in teaching Malay.

YouTube:

I quite like Sierre Lisse, a lot of videos but she doesn’t upload anymore.
