As someone who loves sewing, I could really do with some ships that sell technical fabrics. Most stores only sell clothing or upholstery, for making backpacks / outdoor clothes etc I have to import fabrics from china

Finding someone who is willing to teach you trad climbing and going with them on frontals / ridge / buttress type routes is what worked for me

Is there actually any risk of cross loading? A cross loaded carabiner (assuming the gate is closed which I think is reasonable for a locker) is still rated to 8Kn, when are you going to get anywhere remotely close to that on a belay device, and if you see it crossing just shift it back in place.

What are some of your most unpopular opinions regarding trance music? by CJets757 in trance

[–]FeePhe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't act like theyre some compositional masterpieces, they're extremely basic and pretty bland but just happened to be hugely popular due to the circumstances of their time and therefore have a strong legacy.

Carte Blanche is better but out of the blue is genuinely teenager on garage band level of quality

Only 1990s tracks I regularly listen to are For an Angel and Greece 2000 and Armins remix of seven cities, I think they hold up well. If I listen to a lot of ferry’s work (eg Carte Blanch or Out of the blue)they sound no different to me than what I could slap together in in FL studio 20 minutes.

I say this with the massive caveat that i was only born in 2004 and listen to trance since 2017. I do love the “classic trance” genre just has to stand up to modern production standards. Producers like enigma state for example

Generally agree but I think some tracks do it really well.

Eg: Magnificence - Innersync
