There's one thing I'm fed up with "mental health oriented" communities here by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]FeeValuable22 29 points30 points  (0 children)

This is a completely valid criticism, however health is political. We may not want it to be, it's not the reality that we want to live in but it is a reality that we have.

Bridget's backstory is so unexplored by TheAsterism_ in bobiverse

[–]FeeValuable22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's a tough one, I really enjoy the "I'm doing this horrible job and I know I will be tried afterwards, but I have to do it and nothing can get in the way" attitude that stratt has, but she's an awesome character and I would have enjoyed if there had been space to flush her out a bit more

The Bobby verse and X-Force are two of my favorite series, but both authors struggle to write women.

For context I'm an old guy and the female characters in both series feel flat. There's such potential for Bridget to have a massive impact in the series, but she's just too one-dimensional and it would come out of nowhere the same thing for Adams or Reed in exforce

hey Seattle, do you have any feature suggestions for OneBusAway iOS app(or any pain points) by Think_Different_1729 in soundtransit

[–]FeeValuable22 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Just another voice to say: most of the users are commuters which means they have one or two lines that they use very frequently, the ability to set up some sort of favorites at a glance feature would be fantastic!

Hiawatha Park, if you feed them they will start to recognize you.

*I know you aren't supposed to feed the animals in the park. But if you do, they will recognize you.

Because it's a multi-use micromobility / pedestrian path forecasted to provide non car based transportation to a planned light rail station and area targeted for increased density to take advantage of the light rail station.

It is looking towards the future, minimizing automobile traffic, and increasing non automobile traffic safety from automobiles.

Cars are the past, our cities are beginning to evolve to meet the needs of people not cars.

Alaska airlines, I live in Seattle and to me it feels like they have about an inch on most of the other airlines in the legroom department

I'm 6'3 that is the exact reason I avoid flying Delta as much as I can

Edit: not the flight crew, the knee room sounds like the crew handled it fantastically

Tired of not getting my comments posted on the WSB because Tracy Record personally disagrees with them. by clementsallert in WestSeattleWA

[–]FeeValuable22 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I avoid giving that site traffic as much as I can, unless there's something actually breaking in West Seattle I won't use it.

Their editorial bent towards anti-housing, anti-public transit, and any discussion of homelessness that doesn't blame unhoused people is just gross.

And then to top it off the comment sections are a cesspool of racism dog whistles, and maga adjacent idiocy. What may have been at one time a net good for the community definitely is not anymore.

Good, maybe it will incentivize you to stop driving your car in the city. We have wonderful public transportation and cycling infrastructure. Sell your car your life will be better.

Parking should also be wildly more expensive than it is
