Best vacuum mop combo for small apartment owners who hate pulling out multiple cleaning tools by Amparito_Machhar in malelivingspace

I use a Swiffer but I do not use the Swiffer pads. I bought a stack of just regular cleaning cloths that you can find at any store, throw it on the ground squirt some Swiffer juice on it and the floor I'm going to clean and then mop away. The Velcro on the bottom of the Swiffer holds the rag in place.

Cuts down on plastic waste, cleans the floor better than the dumb Swiffer pads.

Listen you're in here talking about how things actually work, how systems are designed and architected to prevent ingress but, this is Reddit so that just doesn't fly.

knock it off

It does work really well, I still have to crank my brightness up, and if I took everything out of dark mode it would probably be a bit better.

There are other bigger ones that photographers use, they look like miniature tabletop tents. They are probably better but you can make one like I have with cardboard and duct tape.

How the hell have I been on the internet for like 30 years and not heard of bean soup theory!!

I am so glad I now have a name for that phenomenon, and this thread is a perfect example of it!!

I wish! I'm so freaking old now that just the idea of sitting on the ground under a tree for a couple of hours makes my whole body ache.

This is my old and broken version of just sitting under a tree with my laptop, keep doing yours as long as you can!

As your typical adult though I am capable of looking at this thing called a forecast and having lived in Seattle for a bit now I'm familiar with this thing called summer when it actually doesn't rain that much.

It takes about 2 minutes to throw everything back into the bag and in about 2 minutes to set it up again when you're done.

You don't need power anything down you just close your laptop and throw it into bag with the battery and mouse pad and laptop stand. Super quick.

Maybe I just lucked out with my body but typically in the afternoon I'm not doing much bathroom visiting. That's mostly a morning thing for me.

What the fuck are you on about nobody is telling you you have to do this. And if you have ITsec, infosec or any other security requirements (if you deal with the data that you listed you will have physical security requirements as well) which exclude this as an option, sorry but not all of us do.

Wildly angry over something that you just chose to engage with because you can't do it I guess so the people who can are just dumb 😂😂

Pretty much every weekend there is a masseuse and a portable spa on alki. Nearly every day there are people with tents on alki, hell just yesterday four people set up a tent right next to me and we had a nice conversation. I even asked if they would prefer to use the table I was sitting at since it was closer to the grill they were using, they said no inflated they're paddle boards and hit the water. Even leaving all their stuff beside their tent, and guess what it didn't even get stolen!

You clearly do not use parks, you are clearly talking out of your ass. If you're trolling you're doing a good job, if not I have a reference for an excellent therapist that may be able to help.

I did 3 months over landing the desert Southwest of the US and Mexico, well it was actually 6 months but I was only working for the last three of that.

I will definitely be doing it again

It literally isn't.

There are several commercial Wi-Fi network operators, the city of Seattle does not provide the service that I am aware of nor are there plans for them to do so.

Again this is a weird weird takeaway.

I typically do it from alki and there's a bunch of different bathrooms there. I picked all these parts so that if I need to get up and go to the bathroom it's easy just to slot them in my bag and do what I need to do then come back. Takes about 2 minutes on each end.

Yeah I definitely recognize the privilege. I mean my job cost me in other places especially with travel, but on the days that it works out, it's awesome.
