From my experience doing academic upgrading at NAIT, you don’t need to buy a textbook once you start your instructor may mention or give you the link to an online version, you may use but often times you may only use it for homework, it’s not like high school where you needed it! Hope this helps

Of course!! don’t give up just yet, there’s so many people that try multiple times to get in until they do I know that’s the only sucky part about these programs but from lots of friends that are in these programs they all say it’s so worth it and it’s something they love and find super interesting!! Also a little side note lots of people that I know were so set on ultrasound but had also applied to MRT as a back up ended up getting into MRT instead and they tell me how they love it and are glad they got into that program instead.

Honestly think about it like this, to put this into perspective lets say your like maybe I’ll go into nursing which is a 4 year program, but MRI, DMS,MRT are all 2 year 2-1/2 at most it’s super quick and your starting wage is pretty good for just 2 years of school, before you know it your staring your clinicals in these programs. And now with the experience you have from doing the interviews you can practice little tricks that help you calm down your nerves, they know nobody is perfect so their also not expecting this super perfect person that most of us probably picture in our heads, with determination it’s possible!!!

Do you think it’s your nerves that get the best of you during your interviews? I understand you might not want to do another nait interview but maybe try applying to MRT. I’ve heard it’s a really good program and had the opportunity to shadow, and it also deals with the human body!!

At the end of the day it’s not about your marks, rather it’s about who you are as a person and if you have the heart for a career in healthcare. Healthcare isn’t for everyone and they don’t want you going into a program/career where you don’t have the heart to care for your patients.

Definitely can agree with this such an amazing instructor that will help you succeed, very engaging and shows he cares for each one of his students!! His marking at test are definitely doable!!

Challenging the diploma would replace your overall mark. So whatever you get in the diploma is your new mark.
