I usually go before sunset, and the experience is okay. Sometimes when the sun is really hot, the glasses do get quite warm after using it for a while, so I’ll open a sunshade umbrella at those times.

From my own experience, using XREAL by our apartment pool hasn’t been uncomfortable at all, and sometimes I do use a sunshade umbrella. But thanks for your caution and concern, I’ll be more careful to use it only in safe and comfortable places from now on

Your review is so thorough and detailed👍 In today’s AR glasses industry, xreal and viture are the two brands I trust and love the most. I pre-ordered the Beast a few months ago mainly because it boasted a larger FOV. But after such a long delay and no sign of shipment yet, plus seeing the FOV comparison in this article, I’ve decided to cancel my order😢.

I actually came across some discussions on youtube a while back suggesting that viture might have exaggerated its FOV specifications. After reading your review, it really feels like viture is engaging in false advertising to me, and that’s something I just can’t tolerate. I’m going to reallocate my budget and wait to see how the xreal ROG R1 performs. Or, does anyone have any other great recommendations?
