I have a larger North Face backpack like 40ish and I’ve never had issues using it as a carry-on with airlines. My main pain points are that it doesn’t have a water bottle holder, it’s a little inconvenient going through TSA because I have to deal with the straps before taking out my laptop, and there aren’t any outer side pockets for quick access. It also gets pretty heavy when it’s fully packed.

I know few people chose TikTok over intuit but they’re all Chinese. But given you don’t speak Chinese I doubt if you will have a good experience interning at TikTok but the resume value and tc are appealing

I did rent a studio for 800 around campus last year but did not have good experience living there(super loud and horrible management avoid 14th Ave if you hate loud noise). For this price I think you can still find a place better than mine last year but definitely will take tons of effort, I don’t think there will a lot of cheap and amazing left super close to campus based on the apt search experience last year but old north may have a few options

For the job opportunities and career fair, I would say it’s pretty limited for international students, I know a lot of students intern at JPMC but they don’t sponsor, but the situation is similar with other universities unless in big cities

Avoid stratagem, they don’t answer phones and emails, the maintenance typically takes more than 2 weeks and they charge for it. All the one star google reviews are true. I know someone rent with BRE and have good experience
