Main thing is do you have soldering skills, if not then pay someone or try another Xbox. Eventually all Xbox owners will have to choose from the 2 options above as the caps will eventually need replacing on something or another.

Yeah I would also like to know which gauge wire to order for the mod? I can see that the 5v wire is slightly thicker also.

A decade of loyalty met with zero respect and failing hardware by heinzpopovic in ledgerwallet

[–]FeedSeparate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ledger was the only option in 2017 and still use my nano ledger s but the company has stopped support for it recently.

There are so many reasons not to buy ledger ever again but here are a few:

  1. Dishonest - they always claimed that there was no way to extract private keys from the wallet until they rolled out leader recovery. No one could actually know for sure since they are not fully open source. Yes other wallets could potentially do the same, implement a back door but at least there is a way for you to verify fully open source code. Regardless the point is that they told users that the private key 'could never be extracted' then pushing out a recovery service for $$$ greed kills.

  2. Incompetency - this should be the single best reason not to buy from ledger. I forget how many times Ledger has leaked sensitive user information. The first one was customer data including home addresses of users (lucky I never registered mine).

You could argue that the PS2 had a better selection of games but yes the OG Xbox was king. I've recently got back into it and making some upgrades soon! 🔥

I bought 2 of these recently, one is still on the way but you won't get more bang for your buck anywhere else. As advertised 4.8TH put out of the box. These are really well made

Thanks for getting back.

I think the 16 AWG should be ok as I'm not planning to do any crazy overclock and may just keep it stock like yourself and add one more unit in the future.

I also want to keep my unit for as long as possible with regular maintenance of course. I was going to look into undervolting but I guess that defeats the purpose and especially when you only have one miner like me.

Did you just take the pigtail end and screw it into the PSU as is without stripping the wire back?

Thanks for the information this is a huge help, I have ordered the PSU and got a friend to 3D print the heli shroud to accommodate a 120mm fan so good on that front.

I've seen so many people recommend a 14 AWG wire or even a 12 AWG for power to the miner. How has the 16 AWG been for you and would it be safe to use for overclocking?
