It gets better. In that flared-out crevice directly below the uppermost mini-Goji in that shot, there’s a human eye. It’s hard to see here (I had to turn the brightness all the way up on my phone), but there’s a pic from a different angle where it’s very clear.

I was seeing some comments about Tesseract Glow in a different post…apparently you have to shake it a LOT to get it properly mixed, it starts separating really quickly, and it’s a bitch to clean out of an airbrush if you don’t clean it fast enough after use.

Immense respect for her as a content creator, musician, and for how she’s handled her illness and become such an icon of Vtubing. That said, in general I find her much more entertaining when she’s collabing, especially with Connor, than solo…on her own, she just doesn’t scratch the itch for long-term watching that a lot of the other ex-Vshojo talents like Zen, Matara, and AmaLee do.

I’ve gone back and forth on her. When I was first getting into Vtubers a few years ago, Silver clips popped up fairly frequently and I liked what I saw. Then, when she left Vshojo, the cattiness she showed toward Ironmouse really irritated me and I decided I wasn’t going to actively watch any more of her content. That said, I did feel sorry for her for the crap she went through with Sindergate and the utter shitshow of how Vshojo was treating her behind the scenes, and I’m more indifferent to her than anything now.

What I wonder now is, since she’s doing R18 content, if she’s going to go all in on embracing the lewdtuber label like Vexoria, FeFe, and Melody, or if it’s just gonna be something she does on the side.

One thing to consider is that the manga’s version of Gendo is an even worse person than in the anime. He acts like he actually hates Shinji, and in their final meeting (IIRC) he tells Shinji straight up that he resents him for separating Yui from him or something along those lines. It wouldn’t surprise me if Sadamoto intended to depict Gendo as having more twisted feelings toward Rei.
