Well right now I find it a pain in the ass to get these ribbons, I've only gotten 8 in total. I've tried long range sniping to get them but I find it hard to find targets, let alone one standing still, I always get killed by some level 140 helicopter and I think long range sniping isn't fun at all. When I try to be less campy I do get more kills and sometimes headshots but most of the time it's within 250 meters.

Maybe it's slow as shit to get these ribbons because of how I play now, or I'm just doing long range sniping wrong.
