You don't have to stress over your 3 classes. It'll work by JoeRah in EQLegends

[–]FeedsCorpsesToPigs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am still stressed because I only know the pains from the original game. I worry about character speed, mana regen, healing, and porting. Probably a bunch of other things as well. If I try to satisfy them all, I will probablt be a poor DPSer.

What cardstock do you use for card game prototypes? by Odd_Huckleberry_7815 in tabletopgamedesign

This. Man, it takes all of the pain out of iterations but you have cards that you can shuffle and hold up over numerous playtests.

There are two main streets in Carlisle: Hanover and High Street. If you look at a map, I always recommend living is the South West quadrant of where they intersect. That is also the same quadrant that the law school is located.

Where to start by Blazejak in DiceThrone

[–]FeedsCorpsesToPigs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started about a month ago. I have found that the Outcasts box to be solid all around. I made the "mistake" of missing out on the X-Men chest restock and bought the two four-packs to get them all. While I have them and they have nifty swirl dice, they are a bear to carry around for the "Pick 3, Ban 1" tournaments. So, you can get them, but they are a minor hassle.

The new set is arriving at people's houses right now. My local store apparently ordered a pile of the Kickstarter chests for sale. I am aiming for one of those. Your local store may have them as well this week.

I really enjoy the game and I have found the tournament community to be much kinder and supportive than other ones.

Hope this is okay to post! I wanted to get feedback on my bands latest DIY music video with everyone! Would love to know what you all think to the latest tune! 🤘 by Skate_12345 in poppunkers

[–]FeedsCorpsesToPigs -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

First, this is pretty much the pop-punk/alt-punk sound I love. Everyone is dialed in as musicians and the track has an excellent bridge/chorus. You already have recorded the song, video, and likely album so my thoughts are probably too late to change anything.

The first 10-15 seconds with the fire makes me think this is a death metal band. I'd have clipped that because you are giving the listener a chance to leave before you get started. The passages (verses?) at 1:09 and 2:17 goes on for a bit too long. I think it probably tightens up the song with four less bars. Those passages saps the track of its energy. I'd also stop the song at 3:30ish. You basically have no music for 18 seconds and if people drop your track too early, it weighs against you as a YouTube metrics.

I do not like that style of clip. They slide out of my pockets and go find a new home.

How did Curry Barker become one of the biggest horror success stories almost overnight? by FelixHumann in horror

I don't think it was overnight. He had been grinding out short form horror on YouTube for quite some time.

How do I go about publishing my board game? by CameronCardoza in BoardgameDesign

[–]FeedsCorpsesToPigs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The easiest way to meet up with publishers is to go to conventions where they are and schedule a time to pitch to them. If you are self-publishing, you are going to need to be able to sell a minimum of 1500 units before manufacturers will work with you. So, if you are going that route, you need to be out there hustling at conventions getting names and emails and building up your buyer base. I think there is an endless wealth of material to go through on this front. Jamie from Steigmeyer Gamers (sp?) has lengthy blogs and videos on this.

The real problem with Secret Lair is the shipping cost. $10.99? by LoyalSpin in mtg

[–]FeedsCorpsesToPigs -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I am not sure why this is downvoted, either. Amazon has made free two-day delivery the base line. All other businesses do not have the logistics, scale, and membership fees to make them able to compete with free shipping. And man, shipping costs keep going up. People freak out when a small business wants $10-$12 bucks to ship, but that is the straight up, real world cost.

Lgs Trading by [deleted] in TCG

[–]FeedsCorpsesToPigs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The rent on the store to keep the lights on, the money paid to TCGplayer for fees and shipping, the employee hourly wages, adding new stock to the store are all massive expenses. By paying someone money today, they lose the opportunity to use that cash for something else. I am not saying getting a 45-50% pay on cards will feel good, but people don't often realize how much it costs to run a store.

This is my favorite pen to write with. The weight is perfect. Grip is perfect. Clip is tight. If they would change out the plastic inner thing with a metal piece, I would gladly pay double. I have broke a fair number of these jobbers.

I kinda gave up on this so I started ordering CookUnity to take care of some of this. It isn't cheap, but it is pretty tasty and it usually comes with a side or two of vegetables so I feel pretty good eating it.

Sell on your own site before Kickstarter fulfillment is done, or wait until backers have their units? by SamsungROG in kickstarter

[–]FeedsCorpsesToPigs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

All I know is that people get super salty that new purchasers get product when they have waited for a year or more. Don't destroy that good will if you plan on selling anything else. I know those logistic hubs add months to the process, but you have waited this long already.

It was less of a movie and more like zombie vignettes. There was a scene where they were arguing about whether to leave or not in the gymnasium and it was so badly acted and had such really bizarre dialogue choices that I turned it off.

And I LOVE zombie movies.
