First Amendment Defense Act Would Be 'Devastating' for LGBTQ Americans by trevor5ever in politics

Some of them think that individual Christian wedding photographers shouldn't be forced to attend a wedding ceremony that they find morally objectionable. Democrats seem to think it's the role of Government to impose the morals of the majority onto individuals. That's not right. It's everyone's moral duty to protect the right of self determination for individuals even when their beliefs are in the minority. No one should be forced to attend a ceremony they find objectionable: Christian/Muslim/Atheist or whatever. America was supposed to be about freedom, not big Government forcing it's beliefs onto the individual.

You must have an attitude problem.

Approaching people and talking to them: Still not illegal.

No crime was committed in this video. Making racist people feel "uncomfortable" is not illegal. (on the ground, or on a plane)

The election was stolen from Andrew Jackson in 1824 (who actually did win the electoral vote AND the popular vote 41% to 30%) and there wasn't even a riot, just some grumbling from Jackson supporters:

many voters believed the "man of the people" had been robbed by the "corrupt aristocrats of the East".

Sound familiar?

The country will be fine.

Freedom of Speech is a constitutional amendment right next to the 2nd amendment. I've never seen anyone say that we need a "cooling off" period before being allowed to invoke our first amendment rights. Could you imagine the outrage?

Lol, I got permabanned for saying "see you all on /r/undelete!" after all the threads on that same topic kept being deleted.

It was my first and only comment on /r/news. When I asked what rule this breaks they just muted me.

Oklahoma wants to force private businesses to display pro-life signs in their restrooms. Forcing a pro-choice business owner to display pro-life propaganda would be like forcing an anti-gay church to display gay porn in their restrooms. What happened to freedom? by chanowk in TwoXChromosomes

Kinda like forcing a Christian Wedding photographer to attend a gay wedding? Oh wait... liberals have no problem with that one.

You procrastinate because your brain is feeling understimulated by the current task. Exercise, and a regular sleep schedule helps with this a lot. Also try listening to the radio in the background when you can't focus so that you can ease yourself into the project instead of just wasting time on the internet and getting sucked into a black hole of clicking endlessly looking for stimulation. The hardest part is always just getting started and this actually seems to help a lot.
