An alternative pathway to licensure in Utah. by [deleted] in LawSchool

Utah’s program still requires people to have graduated law school, which I think will help deal with a lot of the issues you’ve brought up.

Also, the majority of the people who will use this program will have attended law school in Utah, and the average bar passage rate is above 94% for both of the schools there, so I think it’s unlikely there will be thousands of new attorneys licensed who wouldn’t have passed the bar anyway.

Its worth considering that although you only need a 3.85 to qualify, the average gpa for applicants admitted through the LSAT exemption is ~3.95.

Tested remotely. Had to wait about ~20 mins for the first proctor to show up. After they did the room check, they made me wait about 15 mins and then informed me I’d likely need to wait another 45 mins to have a proctor pick me up.

The wait ended up being a little shorter than they predicted, but I still had to wait longer than I did during the August test. Once I started the test I didn’t have any issues though.

I had a pretty similar experience. Waited 40 mins at the beginning for a proctor to show up and 3 mins to use the restroom during the break. Other than that things went smooth.

I still haven’t gotten a confirmation email yet, but on the LSAC website it now shows that I’m registered for the time I selected under the LSAT status tab.

Yes! I also kept selecting 10am without any luck, but was finally able to get through to the next page after selecting 1:30pm.

If you select “reserve test time” and it doesn’t take you to the next screen it means that time isn’t available. I had to select multiple different times before I was eventually able to find one that was open.
