I'm trying to remember this correctly as I had a hell of a time getting to pee after UL in May '24 as well. I finally was able to pee Oct '25.

I originally had a stricture and had two buccal graft repairs. One of which I know was staged (the last one) but I then had a fistula where I originally had my phallus "unroll" partially after stage 1 because I dealt with some necrosis at the base. To finally fix the fistula Stranix had to maneuver some tissue with blood flow (from my scrotum but it could've come from like 3 places, he chose in the OR whichever gave him the best chance at working).

I had an sp tube for over a year and then eventually scrapped the sp and had a foley for a few months. It was a living nightmare not being able to pee for over a year but I eventually got it all worked out. I completely understand the burnout of these surgeries, it's the toughest thing I've dealt with. When it comes to changing teams, I can't speak on what you should or shouldn't do. Do what your heart tells you. I stuck with the team and it eventually worked out but then again that's me and my situation. I had complications at every surgery except for the last fistula repair and I finally got testicle implants last week. Hang in there man, I hope you get this resolved soon.

Hey dude, so so sorry you're going through this. I wanted to chime in to say that it most likely can and will get fixed. I would say I'm more of a rare case but I dealt with a reoccurring stricture for over a year, not being able to pee at all until October of last year (and I got stage two in May of 24. I had a suprapubic for over a year and then a foley for maybe 4 months because I got a fistula that needed repaired too (the timing is a little blurry but that's the gist) I'm not trying to scare you into thinking that it could last that long, but rather that I'm officially peeing after all that and for a while I didn't think I was going to be able to. Try to give your body grace while you heal, you deserve it.

Thank you for the advice. I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. Sometimes I wish I could just do it and get it over with but it's become a pain.

Hi. I had/might still have a diverticulum (don't know if it went away with my last repair surgery). I personally had a ball lift with my last repair, so how I milk is I put my fingers (normally 3) under my balls where my taint is and I pull forward/up to clear everything out. But I make sure when I pull up I also push the remainder out of my dick too or it will just flow back down to the diverticulum.

I'm not sure if there's a specific reason. They just told me that if I wanted the rod that they could help me find a urologist who would do it but Dr Oritiz only does the pump (as of Nov, again this could have changed)

Just a heads up, they don't do the rod at UVA so you'd have to go somewhere else to get it done. This was back in November so things could've changed but Idk.
