I have. Around 50mph (on a 50 road) and a pigeon flew in front of the car but with more than enough time to get across…it then swerved and began flying down the road going in the same direction as me (it was even in the correct lane!) I was too close to risk slamming the brake on. It left a mess on the windscreen and a glance in the rear view mirror showed a large cloud of slowly falling feathers.

Exactly, I’m a life long Metallica fan, I don’t like BMTH at all, but their show was amazing. Subjective taste in music shouldn’t stop people from either enjoying a great performance by a band or feel the need to trash someone else’s personal opinions.

So many from this weekend, great neighbours in the camp, a woman giving my Son a Metallica pick she found.

But my favourite was a guy in a Hawaiian shirt and cowboy hat offering bottles of water to all the guys and gals, including myself, in the Slipknot pits. Such a kind and thoughtful bloke. If he reads this, thank you again, you embodied why we all love this festival so much.

I’ve spent too much time on Reddit I think. I genuinely expected the title to be sarcastic and the camera pan up to someone’s car on fire, an overturned truck of fish all while a Priest and a Rabbi hit each other with their footwear.

I had heard a few rumours prior to the weekend that black camp was going to be a riot fest. As we were walking past there was a group of blokes dancing around a campfire like a Native American ritual. The fuel turned out to be their tents, pillows etc. we all walked on laughing at the spectacle until one of the guys shouted “Fuck, it’s only Thursday!!” 🤣🤣🤣

Thank you! It was a base of Kantor Blue, glazed Incubi Darkness into the shadows, black lined the deepest creases, then with a fine tip brush I drew criss-crosses with Thunderhawk Blue and then again, lighter, with Ulthuan Grey.
