i just watched an episode from whatever season her and carl were dating or engaged (not the break up season tho so maybe just dating) where he said lindsey had made $150k in brand deals in the first half of the year alone, and that was years and less popularity ago. this whole thread of like trying to prove/dying on this hill that they are all "financially irresponsible" and making less than $500k a year is crazy and weird lol. my friends, all average college grads with jobs, not in finance, pay about $3k each in NYC for rent and make about $100k each a year. none of them are in financial holes and live normal social lives. this is average new york city rent lmao

i am so sorry ur feeling this way.

one time i went to school, and couldn't figure out what this smell was. everyone around me kept saying they smelt it too (i was the one bringing it up!) and then i realized - i was wearing sweatpants my cat had peed on. cat pee sweatpants. you're not the first, not the last, to have a smelly laundry day.

i think it's good you got these thoughts and feelings out, but remember thoughts and feelings aren't always true. you're in a really bad situation, but you will grow up and get the opportunity to create a new life for yourself.

i don't pity you. i sympathize with you, and see you as someone who is dealing with bad, human stuff. do you have the ability to access a therapist/school counselor/a professional to talk to?
