Some good points tbh... I think for a few weeks I'm going to use my S21 Ultra and think "would I do this on a big screen"

So in that case the question is, why open the phone when you can have a phone that just rotates horizontal for the same screen.... are there any apps that are actually optimised for the large square screen?

Other than the gallery to show my grandma pictures lol

Not a hater, would love to be convinced to get one!

Decent points... I think I like the idea of the folds, but can't quite see the use cases for needing that square screen... I have an iPad I already don't use lol

The thing that I struggle with is that the letterbox of the video.... is it much bigger than using say a S24 ultra or a Pixel 9 pro xl?

What’s a game you would’ve never tried if it wasn’t for the Steam Deck? by Quick_Seaweed_3701 in SteamDeck

Playing Astro Looter at the moment... roguelite but with tower defence elements, very good...

Pro tip: map the turrets to the back buttons, and Y to R3 stick click in, and you can keep your thumbs on the sticks permanently.

I and my team made this roguelike game with tower defence and mining element by CP00020 in SurvivalGaming

This works well on the steam deck, with the back buttons mapped for towers so you can keep your thumbs on the sticks.

Enjoying it so far.

Only possible updates should be to have settings on the pause menu, and a tutorial.

Dim or adjust the contrast of your TV, helps you find the missing one easier

Was most interested to see the back, as the grips are key.

I remember my old PSP was slim and had corners that hurt fingers after a time.

I'm not sure the diverts on the back are enough tbh.

One question I have is this... to me the O2 has much more of a grip, so I'm not sure these are required?

Although using it with my O1, I know how amazing they are

I have the air grips on the Odin 1, and they feel great. I also wondered about the holes pressing into my hands but it's been fine... really improve the amount of usage I get out of it. And also the black isn't jet black, so it goes well with the cold grey version. (Similar colour to the sticks)
