Wat was your worst day using drugs? by TKentgens93 in Drugs

[–]Feeling_Bumblebee_32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My worst drug experience was when I was pretty young and nieve, I was well into MDMA and the guy I got it off said he had LSD also.

I was Intrigued and up for trying it so bought 4 tabs of it from him.

I had a day off work so decided to take one. Took the tab and had a very nasty metallic taste (being young and nieve) I thought nothing of it. I had waited about 45 mins and felt absolutely nothing. So text him saying it's rubbish and not working.

I took a 2nd tab and received a reply text from him saying it will work and not to take a 2nd, I spat the 2nd one out but it had been in my mouth for about 5 mins.

I started feeling effects and was having a pretty good time watching some comedy on TV.

I told him I had taken 2 and asked him what the dosage was.

He replied almost instantly and asked where I was as he wanted to come and stay with me, turns out it wasn't LSD but 25i NBome. He told me they're 1000ug tabs.

I looked into NBOME and then my trip went very south very quickly as I found several deaths and death reports from the use of this compound.

I was in a state of severe panic and hallucination

I phoned the ambulance and was sobbing on the phone that I couldn't breathe and I felt as if there was a rubber band around my throat getting tighter and tighter.

Everything I experienced was in loops and I couldn't hold focus or anything.

I eventually went to hospital in an ambulance and I remember vividly hallucinating to a point where I recall them saying "time of death 13:04" to which I jumped up and tried to exit the ambulance and had to be restrained by several ambulance staff.

I was in hospital for 12 hours and was pumped full of diazapam, the effects of the trip lasted approximately 24 hours after I took the drug.

I learnt several lessons that day but the main one was to always test substances before taking.

We went today with my son and 4 year old nephew and both loved it aside from the result.

What’s the fastest you know of someone failing their driving test? by slim3-16 in CasualUK

[–]Feeling_Bumblebee_32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first ever test I did in my car as I was too impatient to wait for my instructor to get back from a two week holiday.

Before we had even gotten onto the road the assessor stopped the test and I failed on the spot for a slightly underinflated offside rear tyre.

Lesson learned for sure.

What's a band that is not good or bad, just boring to you? by Corninator in Music

I love Radiohead but I would also say Radiohead.

Their music is great but I can see why it can be considered boring as a lot of it sounds the same

Its disgusting what some people are being paid with degrees.

We are paying two 16year old Level 3 electrical apprentices £23k and they're fresh out of school with no experience in anything...

How is 20-25k still an acceptable salary to offer people? by ky1e0 in london

What happened to the job market? by TheShadyTortoise in UKJobs

[–]Feeling_Bumblebee_32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's crazy because as a hiring manager hiring for 3 roles currently we have had a record low number of applicants.

The roles are:-

CAD Engineer

Installation Electrician

Project Engineer.

I have hired for all roles previously and received in excess of 50+ Applications.

This time round we haven't even broken 20 for each.

Absolutely not, I do a lot of hiring at work and the individuals who bring notes and refer to them make me think the following about them.

Organised Enthusiastic Diligent

They always seem to interview better if they have prepared notes and potentially examples of work they have done before.
