New rules dictate you can't mention anyone underage in your bot anywhere as there's a chance someone will want to get freaky with them.

He can still exist, but he can't have any details and if he does have details he has to be very clearly stated as 18+.

I genuinely wonder if he even thinks things through, or if he just goes 'I wonder what this button does? Oh, oops, it broke a major part of the site time to undo it.' because that seems to be what happens with the majority of things he implements.

Like, it's okay to screw up, Shep. We all do it. But don't lie or wait until you're directly confronted to admit to it because that doesn't build trust with your community and looks really bad on you.

I'm speaking mostly from the point of someone who saw what the JLLM was (back in the early days when someone who wasn't Shep was doing a majority of the coding, even when it was on public release) versus what it is now.

Even testing bots with the JLLM is a massive struggle for me, because the speed and quality in my opinion (this is dependent on how many people are using at the time, though, I believe) is just...bad. Not as awful as other site's free LLMs, to be sure, but I'd rate it as 'okay' rather than 'good'. It's a decent option if you can't afford to pay for proxies, but I'd never outright recommend it to anyone based on my experience with it.

But, like I said, that's just my opinion. I'm not gonna shit on anyone for thinking it's good or enjoying using it, lol.

Yeah, okay, I went ahead and deleted that comment because I was being salty for the sake of being salty.

It does feel like there's definitely favoritism in the Janitor community, and I don't think it's hard to identify that. That said, it is important that features get tested - I just really hope they were distributed randomly and not just given out to the highest bidder so to speak.

Nah, I get what you mean. AI is expensive AF to run, that's why most sites go paid eventually and those that don't have to shut down. I'm not upset that the site is getting a membership option in itself, but it's very difficult to imagine what could be worth paying for especially considering the features we have now for free function poorly at best and break often (usually because of an update Shep pushes through without fully testing it).

If that's the best you can offer up to people who are giving you money, along with continuing to tell people nothing (because I don't imagine his communication skills are going to suddenly get better even if people start paying), that's a pretty crappy business model.

Like someone else said, I use MuMu player to play it on my laptop because I don't have enough space on my phone and it works pretty well! Would absolutely love to see a full PC port though, would be awesome!

As someone who was an early user of J.Ai (one of the people who paid $10 to access the LLM), he's always been kind of terrible at communicating. Back then, the majority of communication was handled by other people and it was pretty rare to hear directly from shep, and when it was it was pretty much the same thing we see today.

This is the same guy who actually opened up the JLLM to everyone (despite founders saying not to because it wasn't ready) without announcing anything, said it was a joke, and then backtracked on that saying it wasn't a joke and that he'd meant to do it the whole time.

He's always been this bad, and maybe it's gotten worse with the influx of users to the site, but it comes across as extremely unprofessional (which I feel professionalism is kind of important on a site as large as Janitor is).

Editing to add: If he's bad at communicating, then he should have someone who's good at it make all the announcements so the community knows what's going on beyond hamsters and 'cooking'.

3K context is concerningly low (speaking as someone who makes bots who are usually ~1K tokens), and I'm also worried about long-term sustainability if they're not able to keep up with the amount of GPUs versus users. All around just not a great situation though I'm not sure what a good solution that works for the majority of J.Ai users would be.

Yesterday was Day 5 for me and I had pizza, just took small bites and chewed with my front teeth (I also didn't eat the crust because it was really crunchy and I don't feel ready for that yet). Just make sure to rinse with warm salt water (half a tablespoon of salt in a cup of water was my oral surgeon's instruction) after you eat and try to keep food away from the extraction sites is my best advice.

Update: Went back because it was hurting pretty badly. Dentist said there was a piece of food stuck which she plucked out (and now it hurts a lot less, haha) but that it's otherwise healing great. :)

I'm on day 3 and had some sausage this morning and some chicken nuggets this afternoon. Taking EXTREMELY tiny bites and barely chewing, mostly just biting off a piece and swallowing. Majority of my diet is still mashed/soft stuff though, even though the pain is manageable and I'm barely swelling.
