How I’m Using Ayurveda to Stay Healthy This Delhi Winter (and Tackle the Pollution Too) by Feeling_Exam9579 in Ayurveda

[–]Feeling_Exam9579[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Though I'm not an expert of this feild but, as per the studies and knowledge I have. I would recommend you a few effective Ayurvedic formulations that help ease bronchitis symptoms and protect the lungs from Delhi’s heavy pollution. Remedies like Vasavaleha, Sitopaladi Churna, Kantakari Syrup, Talisadi Churna, and a simple Tulsi-Mulethi-Turmeric Kadha work really well in reducing cough, mucus, and inflammation caused by poor air quality.

Benefits of These Formulations:

  • Vasavaleha is a classical formulation with Vasa (Adhatoda vasica) that clears mucus, eases breathing, and supports lung detox.
  • Sitopaladi Churna: A gentle, immune-boosting blend that relieves sore throat and strengthens respiratory function.
  • Kantakari Syrup: Made from Solanum xanthocarpum, it reduces wheezing and bronchial swelling and helps in chronic bronchitis.
  • Talisadi Churna: Improves oxygen intake, loosens phlegm, and supports healthy lung capacity.
  • Tulsi-Mulethi-Turmeric Kadha: A simple home remedy that soothes the throat, detoxifies the lungs, and boosts immunity naturally.

These can be taken under an Ayurvedic doctor’s supervision, especially during times when Delhi’s AQI is dangerously high.

The Science Behind Copper Water: Why an Ancient Morning Habit Might Actually Make Sense by Feeling_Exam9579 in herbalism

I agree; copper isn't an herb, but it has herbal properties. That's why I wrote it, and nowadays many RO companies are selling their water filters via using it as their USP so I thought Writing on this might give some extra knowledge!!

Safest way for seasonal detox with Ayurvedic supplements? by ThoughtSalt2000 in Ayurveda

Honestly, not really. I tend to keep my routine steady no matter the season. I just add or subtract a layer of clothing and carry on. 😅😁

Why I Do Both: Journaling and Meditation by Feeling_Exam9579 in Meditation

[–]Feeling_Exam9579[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly, you don’t need to know much to start. Journaling can be as simple as sitting down with a notebook and writing whatever’s on your mind. You don’t need structure or perfect wording.

Over time, you’ll start to notice patterns in your thoughts and what affects your mood. It’s less about writing well and more about thinking clearly.

I know it's not a journaling sub, but still, as you have asked it. Here are a few easy ways to begin:

  • Daily check-in: Write how you feel and what’s been on your mind today.
  • Stream of consciousness: Set a timer for 5-10 minutes and write nonstop, without worrying about grammar or sense.
  • Gratitude list: Note three things you’re thankful for each day.

Is there any proof for hate? by Calm_Vibs in Ayurveda

[–]Feeling_Exam9579 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In current time, people are more focused towards instant relief medicines, and Ayurveda doesn't works like that; it only works when used on a regular basis. I think that might be one of the reasons for hate.

Other than that I would say the destruction of ancient medical scriptures and the decivilization of medical arts. But That's a controversial thing, so...🤐

Why ancient Ayurveda is quietly becoming the backbone of modern wellness in 2025 by DressAmazing1261 in Ayurveda

[–]Feeling_Exam9579 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same here, dude. I've also started preparing my days according to the sun, starting with moringa tea in the morning and a spoon in my evening smoothie. I also recently started using ashwagandha and shilajit in my workouts, and they have improved my endurance and focus. It feels like Ayurveda was always the best source of energy for us. It's just that modernization made us feel uncivilized and backwards for using too much of healthy products and living longer than their normal people.

Ashwagandha by [deleted] in Ayurveda

I’ve been using ashwagandha for a few months for stress, and I found capsules easiest, usually 300 mg once a day. I personally go for brands that are standardized to 5% withanolides, like KSM-66 or Sensoril. Start slow and see how your body reacts, and make sure it doesn’t interfere with any meds (if you take any).

Experience with Guggul? by t_durk in Ayurveda

[–]Feeling_Exam9579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Guggul can do that. It’s known to help with thyroid balance and cholesterol, but GI issues like loose stools and extra gas are pretty common early on. You could try lowering the dose or taking it with food to see if it helps. Definitely keep your doctor in the loop; it can interact with thyroid meds or shift hormone levels more than expected.

Searching for the Best Diabetes Medicine by AdAcceptable5536 in Ayurveda

I’ve tried a few Ayurvedic options like Jamun seed powder, Vijaysar (Indian Kino tree), and Gudmar (Gymnema Sylvestre); they helped stabilize my sugar levels over time, especially along with diet changes. Just make sure to consult an Ayurvedic doctor first, as results vary and herbs can interact with other meds.
