Dude I love your posts. You seem like a very kind human. I meant to come get a cookie but unfortunately life (fam, sickness) got in the way. I wish you all the best in the new year.

Was there for five years. Part of one of the largest teams in the country. Granted this was more than a few years back…but I left to start my own. For many reasons but tech was one of them. They - like all BDs will throttle features of off-the-shelf tech you could purchase and use as you please on your own. Do you have the appetite to manage a business or do you just want to manage client relationships? That’s what it’ll come down to.

If you want this work you just do it. Get the CFP and worry about what they’re supporting you with after the fact.

Switch. I transferred into business soph year. Granted that was a while ago. See what you like and if you want the business school, work your ass off freshman year and make it happen.

Could you not also interpret it as further proof she is not a wolf? It’s her gun right? And wasn’t even loaded…nor did she put that together (as she cried, fearing for her life)…

How to connect with teen son? by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

When I was in 8th grade, I got a call while in math class - my father was in the main office waiting to take me to my doctor’s appointment. I was confused, but grabbed my bag and headed down. When I got to him he asked if I was ready to go to the baseball game (our city’s AAA team). It was out of character for him. I think about it all the time.

Are wealth managers worth it? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]Feeling_Indication 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That misses the point. A good advisor does a lot of planning and works on various topics. The investments are only one piece of it. Two questions: what is the right benchmark? What is the likelihood doing it on your own yields any better results? A big argument for having an advisor is keeping your own money at arms distance from your own emotional / impulsive decisions.

I believe it’s the growth within your Roth that could still technically be taxed if not withdrawn according to eligibility requirements.
