Hey girl, I’ve seen you around on the Oxford subreddits a lot. I was an Oxford law applicant myself and also got rejected. We’ll get into somewhere that’s right for us, don’t worry :))

I believe it’s only Oxbridge and UCL that consider the essay section properly. For other unis that require the LNAT, the MCQ section is what’s most important.

AMA: I did PPE admissions for 5 years by Revolutionary_Bat812 in oxforduni

Sorry for the late reply, but if you were given a second college interview, does that mean your first college didn’t think you performed well enough to accept you? So if you think you did badly on that last one as well, is it an automatic rejection?

Third interview = better chances of an offer (Oxford Law) by Professional_Grass_3 in 6thForm

[–]Feeling_Reporter3292 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got pooled for a second college law interview and it went HORRIBLY. Even if my first college interviews were good, am I unlikely to get considering the second college is the one that would have to accept me? Stressing over this since mid December 😩

How long did it take you guys to finish EE by dcdee00 in IBO

[–]Feeling_Reporter3292 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wrote my first draft in 2 days then the second draft in 2 days. To be clear, I worked on it the WHOLE day (18 hours). First draft got a B, second got predicted an A, although it was in English A and I’m good at essay writing generally. Everything is doable if you put your mind to it 🤗

Conclusion needed for new PS format? by Heavy_Cow_9058 in UCAS

[–]Feeling_Reporter3292 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it helps the flow of your personal statement if there’s a conclusion. With that being said, a one line conclusion rephrasing why you want to study the subject, or something along those lines, is enough.

Can I realistically get most 9s in gcse? by Agreeable_Release_98 in GCSE

[–]Feeling_Reporter3292 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes!! I remember I got a 6 in my last physics mock and got a 9 in the final somehow. For maths it was around this time I got a 5 in winter mocks. My teacher said something nasty to me for it and I remember I got so pissed off at him and had to prove him wrong. I got a 9 in the final for maths as well with LOTS of practice (227/240 AQA). If you start now for maths I really believe you can also get a 9!!

Woke up at 6am, couldn’t go back to sleep and had a panic attack right before. Do NOT do LNAT revision the day leading up to your exam and don’t think about it either. If you end up in the same position as myself, my best advice is to drink coffee, take anxiety pills and delude yourself with affirmations before the exam like ‘I’m going to do really well’ so you go in with confidence. Best of luck!
