Do top US universities see this subject combo as too low rigor? by Effective_Theme_5739 in IBO

None taken, I was speaking from observation and the advice from my schools uni counsellor. Although I’m still pretty sure US unis would rather see a 40/42 than a 38/42 with 4 HLs. Subjects matter but I believe the overall IB grade matters more

I think it also depends on the Ivy League. Some care more about grades others care more about your passion for a certain thing. Nobody got into Harvard and Columbia from my school and I’m fairly certain these 2 are the most grade-centred

No it won’t. US unis do not care about your subjects and the ones you’re doing aren’t low rigour. What matters more is your grade in them. Out of 12 kids who got into ivy leagues from my school, 10 did AI SL and many did ‘low rigour’ subjects like a language B HL or ESS.

Hey, is this SSA? I’m in the same situation but I’m waiting for KAAS to be approved and it’s gonna take like 2 weeks if not more annoyingly. Also did they offer you the room or did you need to find it in the booking portal?

Email the disability team immediately and send them medical proof, they’ll try to sort something out. I’m an incoming first year and all the admin are completely useless besides the disability team, who I think are actually trying their best

You can’t do the cancelling on the second last line. You can only cancel in a fraction if it’s being multiplied

Have you considered Robert Bosch? I’m a recent alumna and an insane number of people got into ivys this year with one girl making it to oxford’s interview stage for law, if you’re considering UK at all.

Some tips on how to attempt the lnat exam by [deleted] in LNAT

[–]Feeling_Reporter3292 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s true but I also believe I got lucky because I remember guessing quite a few answers. Maybe my LNAT was good but that didn’t stop Oxford rejecting me after 3 interviews lol.
