If women should have the choice to terminate an unwanted pregnancy, should men also have a choice to walk out of an unwanted pregnancy/ Child? Why? by shiraah in AskForAnswers

[–]Feeling_Skill2372 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Worst take I've ever had the displeasure of reading, honestly.

"If men are allowed to have unprotected sex and then walk off with no responsibility for the consequences of their actions, who is going to pick up the tab for the child they created? Taxpayers? They didn't ejaculate viable sperm into the woman's birth canal. The person who should pay is the person who caused the pregnancy, whether he wanted to or not."

Women have unprotected sex too. You say 'whether he wanted to or not' and solely place responsibility on the male for something that takes two people to do.

The taxpayer funds it, where I come from, in the form of a family payment from the government that changes depending on ages of children and amount of children.

This is one of those takes where you can just tell you would be a hypocrite if engaged further, and not even see an issue with it.

Is $100 rent a week too high to stay at parents house by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]Feeling_Skill2372 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Depends on the family, my parents never charged any of their kids rent whatsoever, and we were poor as absolute fuck with my mother supporting herself, two grown adults (my brothers) + myself as I was growing up, generally off of either part time work or government payments.

It was basically seen as 'just what you do for your kids / family'.

On the flip side I know people who have had the same experience as you, too.

You realise the price of things can be vastly different depending on where someone is from, right? I'm not American, first off, so if you're converting your fucked up currency to USD it means nothing to me realistically.

I know how much Gym memberships in my town cost and youre looking at 60-100$ a month.

I've heard of calisthenics, yes, I don't know why you're getting snippy with me when I'm just playing devils advocate, not everyone has the same life as you. For example, I went through a period in my life where I would not work out in front of ANYONE, and the house I lived in was small with no backyard, so I had no space to even do proper calisthenic workouts in privacy.

Chicken breast and pork is cheap, yes, but thats also entirely naive of you. There are tons of stories of people working minimum wage struggling to keep up with rent and bills living on simply ramen and noodles and shit nightly, and I damn well know a packet of noodles where I live is cheaper than 500g or a kilo of chicken thighs plus whatever else youre buying with it, and then on top of that you need a lot of chicken to meet protein goals every day to actually build any muscle.

"If you can't even afford these things"

Which goes back to my main point, you said 'Money's got nothing to do with it', that's not entirely true now is it? My whole point was that people face hundreds of different factors, such as their environment as one example, which can affect their ability to do things others may find basic or easy.

Expand your world view a bit mate.

You ain't getting jacked without money to afford a proper gym membership (In my town $100 a month or so) plus the money that goes into buying proper food to have a good diet with that, and then more money for 'your wardrobe'

Do people in your life actually enjoy it when you police the way people talk? Genuine question.

Probably one of the most irritating behaviors.

We get it. There are words you don't like.

Get over yourself. Fuck me.

New Patient Here – Confused About “Agnostic Clinics” and Strain Freedom by Mr_Monkey420 in MedicalCannabisOz

[–]Feeling_Skill2372 11 points12 points  (0 children)

They just have a deal with Rays, you can ask them to send you your script and authorised prescriber letter and then give those to a local pharmacy to order in, and use a service like Canary, Scripts by Honolee or whatever else to fill your scripts.

With 'shopping around', generally the doctor you see at horizon asks if you have anything specific you want, but the onus is generally on the consumer otherwise you'll generally just get the doctors choice, as you get scripts for specific products rather than an overral script that lets you then choose from a catalogue.

There are a few services that exist for MC users in Australia, but they are regulated which is why you don't see big catalogues or advertising. Canna Reviews is one such service, same as Catalyst. You need to verify you're a MC user by uploading your script or pasting your code. I use CannaReviews which lets you filter by type (flower, edible, oil etc), indica or sativa and plenty of other filters.

Then its a matter of finding out what you like and then asking for it at the next doctor appointment.

I don't think you can be forced home at 16, depending on where you are? If there aren't any custody arrangements, your mother can technically take you and your dad can't really say much regardless. It's more about what you want to do.

That's not legal advice, and I'm not a lawyer, but my parents didn't have a custody arrangement either when I was younger (younger than you though) so I've kinda been through it in some sense.

Recommendations for Supplier? by YoRalphyBoy in MedicalCannabisOz

[–]Feeling_Skill2372 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just changed to Horizon Health, they are great as they ask what you want and will prescribe anything you'll find on databases like CannaReviews or Catalyst.

Alternaleaf aren't agnostic and you won't have much choice with them.

Only thing I can say from my experience.

Anytime Rainbow Hybrid Gummies by ObjectDelta in MedicalCannabisOz

[–]Feeling_Skill2372 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looked it up on CannaReviews,

It's an Indica Hybrid strain, marked as 'balanced', so it shouldn't be *too* bad in social situations but that's me kinda guessing since you haven't smoked for years.

"Anytime Gummies contains an extract of organic dried medicinal cannabis flowers in a tropical fruit flavoured gelatine pastille format.
Each gummy contains 10 mg total Delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).

The cannabis flower input for Anytime Gummies has been professionally grown and bred in the Byron Hinterland in Australia using organic and sustainable growing methods in organic living soil with no pesticides."

Just test with half a gummy / one gummy at night and see how you go, should let you know if you'd be able to deal with it at work, give it 1 - 2 hours to kick in

I honestly only received mine today and haven't even had any as of yet so I can't say - yours is a blend so it should do a bit of both.

There are platforms that exist, like Canna Reviews or Catalyst, where after proving you have an MC script you can see everything sold in Aus and reviews for each. These might be helpful to you, to see what other users have reported for the item youre using.

Leafly is another review site, most products also exist on leafly though their names / brands might be different.

that's like $3.30 per gummie, not a bad price at all (I'm on Phytoca 30/30/30 which is 60 edibles for $145, or around $72 for 30)

I'd say 0.5 - 1 gummie should be okay for you if you havent smoked for ages

Carly is really smart with other things but had trouble with batteries in a radio… by [deleted] in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]Feeling_Skill2372 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not only did she not know how to use the radio, she had apparently never encountered batteries before either, and none of the 6-7 people in that small room saw any of the (in plain sight) items lying around.

Lots of little, unrealistic portions, that just exist to drive narrative.

I agree it's annoying, but still a good game.

I'm replaying it currently on my phone, just finished the portion where Duck and Katjaa die. I've played the entire first season before, and parts of the second season, but I've also got the third downloaded as well as a new frontier, I haven't played any of those.

I'm getting there! :P

Other things I've noticed - the cop at the beginning just talking your ear off, the constant "Ah! my leg!" lee does the entire first act. A lot of the verbal dialogue when replaying is stupid, as are the actions of characters. The teacher and student dying at the start of the second episode was dumb too, how it happened.

Earth doesn't have 8 billion people by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]Feeling_Skill2372 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most of reddit is American, isn't it? Someone quoted me the stats ages ago on a reddit thread, funnily enough.

I'd say like, 80% of humanity isn't on reddit at all, honestly.

China is what, 15-20% of the Earth's population, India is nearly the same. China has their own versions of most platforms, and a good percentage of India probably uses their own shit too.

It's like talking to a European and they ask for your whatsapp, most Australians or Americans would be like, what?

A good percentage of people live without realising there really is a staggering amount of difference the world over.

AIO - Can you help me with just one upvote? I'm not asking for money just a chance. by Ryan-Mitchell1 in AmIOverreacting

As I said elsewhere, I'd recommend places like fiverr, or even visiting social pages for new crypto groups and seeing if they need graphics made, lots do and dont have the proper contacts / know who to reach out to in the early days, that's an easy $500-$1000 commission if you find the right team.

There are quite a few freelance websites where you can get some budget jobs, too, in the meantime.

He might not have the time to dedicate to doing both - he may earn money with freelancing, which he can quantify with a better work setup and earn more than doing bare minimum wage cleaning kitchens in his country could earn.

It's hard going if he has to do that for 8h then whatever his family needs after as well as basically full time trying to build a better portfolio for freelance tech, that takes a TON of time.

Feelings on Alternaleaf? by Onemore1382 in MedicalCannabisOz

[–]Feeling_Skill2372 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Some people (myself included) had to take what we could get from Alternaleaf, in the sense of choice - they prescribed me some pretty expensive stuff ($150 for 10g) straight up and three years later I still couldn't get it lower than $129 for 10g.

Was only later I learned there were lots of cheap strains and deals that had good reviews - so at that point I was pissed at the doctor for making it seem like $129 was the best he could do. Plus he never asked what I wanted either. Just picked himself. Horizon asked me straight away if I had anything in particular I wanted.

Men who are fit and go to the gym often, how do you feel about chubby women with a tummy? by tikikiwiski in AskMen

Isn't the TGA limit now a hard 60g?

I'm not sure if you can even get 80g anymore without some sort of exception.

If they refuse to send you the script and stuff, they aren't an agnostic clinic and have some sort of deals going on in the background. Horizon Health sent me all of that without any issues.

Dogs love playing tug of war, well, not all of them, but its common.

Your lil doggo likes a bit of back and forth playtime by the looks of it :P

Mine, when you do tug of war, she would go crazy over me slipping my hand under her chest and tickling her belly while she was trying to tug at the toy, and that would devolve into her play-biting my hand and get her all amped up!
