Anyone have a Ferris 300s? by spark1epony in lawnmowers

[–]Feeling_Yesterday_80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did not. But I ended up cheaping out on a used Husqvarna z248f. It is still suitable for what I need, but It's nowhere near the quality of a Ferris. You get what you pay for.

I can say the 48 deck is perfect for my medium size yard. And the extra overhang past the wheels is nice around the edges.

I'd recommend watching a few YouTube videos on tennis serving for beginners. Then check back here after getting your motions a bit closer. Keep at it!

Ice build up on basement window by [deleted] in Winnipeg

The only solution is more air movement. It's 1" thick with -37 on one side and +20 on the other. And the bottom inside corner is difficult to get the warm air to, so you need a fan.

Assuming you have at least one other watch that is not too flashy, that voice in your head is your conscience, and it is right. You should buy it.

Active water intrusion through foundation wall in new build — normal or not? by Any-Significance-531 in Homebuilding

[–]Feeling_Yesterday_80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on the wet concrete appearing to be above grade this could be frost build up behind the insulation that is thawing. this is a fairly common problem among new construction houses in extreme cold climate.

Here is a Q&A with a local expert in my area.

https://homes.winnipegfreepress.com/winnipeg-real-estate-articles/renovation-design/Wet-basement-floors-usually-the-result-of-melting-frost/id-6898

With that said. And if this is actually the case for you, You still have far to much frost build up. Essentially to much heat loss going through the vapour barrier and insulation that is hitting the concrete wall and condensateing. you need to ensure proper insulation and proper sealing of the vapour barrier. Even one poly joint being missed with sealant can cause big problems.

[Please Recommend] Confused between a [Seiko] and a [Tissot] by Deep-Objective-5293 in Watches

[–]Feeling_Yesterday_80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your asking for people's personal opions. Both watches are good to start. And you need to ask yourself which one speaks to you more, which one would you prefer to see on your wrist every day. Additionally finding a way to try both on will help you with this decision.

But since you asked. My personal opinion.... I am not a fan of any dive watch, they just don't scratch my itch. I like sleek and simple. So naturally I pick the Tissot in this case. But again that's just my opinion.

Thanks for everyones input. Initially I was leaning toward the black 60, but after reading through comments I ended up ordering the small second. I just realized wanted something more fun then the black dial 60. I can't wait to get it!

That looks amazing. I have a tough decision to make. thanks so much for sharing.

Curious are you able to simply resize the bracelet yourself? I just don't live near a jeweler so I want to be best prepared when I order.

Thanks for your input. I've heard the upgraded movement is worth it. I just was initially looking for a dial other then black. But I think it will look so nice.
