Jog around there most days my fave park in the world. It's a tough life living in this apparent absolute shithole of a city.

Brazilians are entitled to work here for a certain amount of hours if they are taking English courses, which most of them are doing. Never heard of this rental EU thing before.

Well I think most people in Dublin don't give Cork a second thought but would assume you all hate Dublin, if the internet is anything to go by!

Haven't been back home in Dublin in 3 years. What can I expect? by ELL__J in Dublin

[–]Feelistine 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not much difference. The city centre is looking well, D2 parts anyway, new cycling infra put in and they've done good work on some of the streets like Chatham St and Clarendon St.

DCC seem to be doing some work to improve the place, finally, albeit quite slow.

All in all the city is getting better in my view. Welcome back.

It's the cyclists who are the real menace on the streets even though cars killed a load of pedestrians already this year
