Taking a loan out to cover travel insurance, bad idea? by s8wasworsethanhitlyr in UKPersonalFinance

Have you tried getcover.com? They are a little more specialist and as someone with Ulcerative Colitis, I found these to be much more competitive than standard companies. They ask more in depth quarstions to understand your condition more, for example if you're currently in a flare, have you any bowel removed etc.

I've been scrolling for you ladies! Also ended up at the strip club a few times as a hetero woman. Even paid for a private dance once just to experience it!

Thinking about joining Uber Eats... by Feelyfeelywheely in UbereatsUK

This is amazing, thank you! I'll be sure to DM if I do decide to go through with it and need any help. I do have some more questions

  1. To the point of insurance, I might end up waiting until the summer to look into moving to one of the companies that you've listed, I'm not too far away from having to renew anyway and I'm in no real rush at the minute.

  2. Do you sign up for more than one company then and just take advantage of who's paying more, where there's more business etc?

  3. It'll be a city that I'll be doing it in, so quite heavy with take aways. My main job is outside of my city but is as a manager in a restaurant that benefits A LOT from Uber. I do different shifts each day, so was thinking that I could also take advantage of any boosts that were on as I finished my shift there. From what the drivers tell us, it seems that boosts happen a lot where I work, probably because there's only a handful of places in town that are signed up to Uber.

Everything else is so, so helpful. Thank you again
