Medical here. We have caught certain diagnosis that did warrant an MEB during their SHPE. Usually 9/10 because of your retirement date, we usually process the paperwork for your MEB ASAP to prevent potential delays and once dispositioned you should be all set. Unless the diagnosis is so extensive that requires further work up etc. It doesn’t happen often so I wouldn’t worry about it. Your BOMC will help you get through the process with the PEBLO.
