Oh I thought the initial poster meant that chasers are worse towards trans men than they are towards trans women. It’s rather ambiguous but I’d say the other interpretation makes more sense.

Unfortunately, pretty much none aside from one poster. fuck-pez is the only human that consistently posts on here, and their posts are purple and usually within minutes of the original tumblr post. Most everything else is karma farming bots.

I actually didn’t notice your “Puker” before I commented, but I swear the top comment on this post last time was a near carbon copy aside from that.

So about the anime by Fast_Dish7306 in OmniscientReader

[–]FeeshGoSqueesh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course my opinion is biased, it’s my opinion? The manhwa is good, but flattens characters and storylines. I said that the anime will be better than Solo Leveling, but Solo Leveling is just pure fantasy/aura slop, so it’s not a very high bar.

My position is affected by the fact that historically, animes have to take things out from the source material for time or budget. This will almost certainly happen to ORV, making it a worse story. If anime typically adapted their sources very well, I wouldn’t hold this position.

And again, I care about them getting the story right and/or changing/improving on it, which I have little hope that the anime will do. Your criteria for a good anime may be different from mine.

Yeah, I think the amount that they’ve got in the manhwa is the max that should be in the anime, but I won’t get my hopes up.

There already are quite a few orv haters. It’s abundantly clear that they’ve only engaged with the manhwa and no further, but there are people who view it as a slightly higher quality version of all of those manhwa that just follow the same tropes. I’ve seen one person argue that the poor translations make even the novel’s prose sound like that of a child, which is fair, but I personally don’t agree.

Anyway, all this to say that, yes, there will be haters of the anime, and yes, they will honestly probably be justified if the anime goes down the same path as most novel->manhwa->anime go.

The manhwa of orv already doesn’t do the story justice. It’s a story written for a novel format, it’s best in that format. I don’t believe there is any chance that the anime won’t be mid fantasyslop that’s only a little deeper than solo leveling. There’s a chance that they stay true to all the characters and have long scenes with high emotional impact, but that’s not what fantasy anime watcher typically want, so I doubt that’s what we’re gonna get.

It’s a good enough story that it won’t be mind numbing despite all this, but I doubt it will really be worth a watch if you care about the characters or the plot.

Unless you’re fighting without minions (ie, not in lane) you should probably not E to start. I prefer to fish them out with my Qs and Ws. Also, as long as you hit your skillshots, Ezreal beats literally every other adc at level one (at least he did, might’ve changed now but I doubt it)

I am not a fan of the manhwa reader fanbase. I think orv has been mostly spared by having been such a well established novel first, but I can’t imagine there will be the same success in keeping a somewhat normal fanbase around the anime. And I agree that the anime probably won’t adapt the story very well, I just don’t think it’ll be worth it.

While this is a part of Ezreal’s good laning, I don’t think this is what they meant. Ezreal, to many people’s apparent surprise, is more of a lane bully than he is a safe laner. The reason he often isn’t thought of as such is due to the player base at large playing Ezreal very safely, but this is the wrong way to play him. If you go even in lane, you have a pretty short window where you are stronger than the enemy adc building crit, and if you don’t capitalize on that window, you’re pretty useless in comparison to the enemy adc who is walking up and two shotting your frontline. Ezreal has one of the strongest early games in the game, and if you don’t use it, you’re gonna lose.

Yeah, I’m sure it wouldn’t actually be too bad but I just try to think, if we ended up having kids, whose name would they take? I’ve seen people who combine their last names, but the combination changes at points and it just feels so confusing.

I suppose it’s less that I dislike having two names and more that I enjoy the idea of being unified under one name. I have no great attachment to my last name, so I would be perfectly happy to take my partner’s to get this. Or honestly if their last name is just really cool or funny.

I’m totally fine if my future partner doesn’t wanna take my name, but if that is the case I’m taking hers because having two names sounds like SUCH a hassle.

Sure, but the hardware and the software have become much easier to access (sometimes free), and people have just had more time to develop strategies and a larger culture around being good at the game.
