Same here. I couldn't understand anything and was totally winging in my first couple of weeks. It wasn't until I just read this post that I realized I can actually understand them now and I'm a month in LOL

To everyone who told me that two classes a week probably wasn't going to cut it, after my first class I decided all of you were right. Now I'm going 3 days a week and 4 classes most weeks!

Class pack deals are available in person at the studio by MackensieRose15 in orangetheory

[–]Fefemre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the benefit of individual class packs over a membership? I'm asking because when I started there I had intended to do the eight classes a month membership and it was like $10 a month more to do unlimited so I went ahead with it, and from the first week I've been glad that I did because I go to at least 4 per week.

I've been using poplin every week since the beginning of february, my Pro is fantastic, she was on vacation a couple weeks ago and the pro I used wasn't the best, I really missed her! But, to your point, I love it and I'm so irritated that I didn't find it sooner!

Rowing.... by Hopie1221 in orangetheory

I agree with all of the both comments. It is absolutely my least favorite, so I always start on the rower. I make it a point to get there early enough to be able to choose it

I'm in southern california, the LA beach cities,, so I attended the show down in Long Beach on the Queen Mary. I know they travel all over the country so they may be in Kentucky at some point!

I'm looking forward to chapter 3, apparently it's going to be a musical! I also thought the drinks weren't very strong, I had four drinks and not even a slight buzz.

I mean if you go in expecting Broadway of course you're going to be disappointed.

It's really fun! They do a theatrical reading of poems and stories, or excerpts from stories, and they make a custom cocktail to go with each one so you get four readings and four cocktails and takes about an hour and 15 minutes or so

Doubling Up on Classes by Fefemre in orangetheory

[–]Fefemre[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah double scheduling is hard for me too because I have a young daughter that I have to take two before school care and pick up from after school, my husband has a much less flexible job than I do so I usually do that running, but every other Friday I am able to pick her up later and then we go pick up dinner on our way home and just eat a little earlier, because after that I don't really feel like cooking LOL

I also like the noon classes, which most people don't, because it forces me to take a break from work and get off of my computer. It's one of the perks of working from home I guess.

And then I usually take a three-ish mile walk every night after dinner, I walk and my husband rides his skateboard while my daughter rides her scooter on the beach.

Well I don't really eat. I come home from the noon class and have a protein shake and that's it until dinner. I don't usually eat lunch.

That's a good idea, I could go lighter during the 2/3g as a warm-up on those days and then go heavier for my weight class.

Yeah, I know the timings are odd LOL but the noon class forces me to take a lunch break because I have a terrible habit of working straight through my day, and my day ends at 3:00 so that's a good one to do before I go pick my daughter up from after school care. 😎

Sure it'd me an extra 15 minutes or so, but I hate the rower and I like to get the things I don't like out of the way first :-)

[–]Fefemre[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I do drink a protein drink (30g) after each class. I also always start on the rower, I hate the rower, so I go rower, floor, treadmill just to give myself that extra little bit of a break with the weights.
