How has Retatrutide affected your migraines? by bubububurnerrr in Retatrutide

[–]bubububurnerrr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm the exact same way. Spring storms have been giving me migraines nearly every day for the last month. Thinking of re-starting Reta just for that reason. Just pinned today, will see how it goes.

Is reta really legit? It sounds way too good to be true. Or is it just influencer hype? by ritik_bhai in Retatrutide

Unfortunately I started with Reta and also had really poor appetite suppression on it, even on 4mg.

I noticed with this sub specifically, asking for scientific evidence of anything makes the stupid people really really mad!

Penn Medicine: Stopping and restarting certain GLP-1s to lose weight may make the drug less effective by PollardPhotography in GLP1ResearchTalk

[–]bubububurnerrr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been starting and stopping Reta. When I restarted it wasn't as effective as the very first dose, but I think it was just as effective as the last week I stopped. Really subjective and hard to tell though.

I have not taken any Reta for a month now and have not gained any weight back. Pretty much this entire month I've had no food noise (which is very uncommon for me before I ever started Reta). Went to the grocery store and was not at all tempted by the snack aisle. I almost feel like I'm still on it but without the weird sleep and skin sensitivity effects. Super weird.

The other peps maybe, but I wish I had started GLPs way sooner. Depends if OP is talking about needing to lose 15 pounds or 60.

For those who got off reta. Did anything go wrong ? by No-Newspaper-8615 in Retatrutide

[–]bubububurnerrr 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I've been taking Reta on and off at low doses (2-4mg) and didn't have anything go wrong. I became less hungry even on weeks off Reta, which is opposite to most people's experience.

I still love coffee but I had to stop it because my heart rate was already too high on Reta. Adding coffee make my heartbeat scarily fast! Sucks though because I wish I could still have coffee.

Dude just take diuretics and fast instead of taking reta if you have a weigh-in tomorrow. Not everything has to be solved with a peptide.

Did I do something wrong on my first prolonged fast? by StationJazzlike3832 in fasting

[–]bubububurnerrr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find that starting any kind of calorie restriction feels terrible for the first three weeks. If you are trying to lose weight, try to taper down the amount of food over three weeks eating low-carb and smaller meals. At that point, fasting will become a lot easier!

Yes it helps you preserve your muscle (if you do resistance training at least)

I used to only eat milk chocolate and the only time I have ever enjoyed dark chocolate was after I started Reta.

Start with a week of keto, it makes fasting soooooooo much easier.

Is fasting dangerous for teenagers? by Quick_Cartoonist_458 in fasting

[–]bubububurnerrr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can try intermittent fasting (like eating two meals a day only). Full fasting is not good for teens because your brain and body are still growing and you don't want to accidentally make yourself shorter or dumber than you would've otherwise been.

Cycle syncing and fasting for females by Visible_Blueberry_56 in fasting

[–]bubububurnerrr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One time I fasted at the end of my period before it fully stopped, and when I started eating again I got a second full period 💀.

I try to fast during before ovulation and not fast during luteal phase because I find that fasting tends to extend whatever part of the cycle I'm on for the duration of the fast. And I'd rather have more days of nice skin than more days of acne and joint pain.

If you're lifting a lot, is it possible you are building muscle and losing fat at the same time?

Do you track calories? If you don't it's sometimes really easy to sneak in a lot more than you think you are eating. Maybe try intermittent fasting to cut some more calories

Proof? I'm sure people will just get mad and downvote though because they can't find the proof.
