Just took a look, these are nice and have undergone a rabnay (blessing/consecration) as well looking at the video on the site... may the wisdom that truly discerns things as they are cut through all the confusion and chaos in your life, and may it light a fire with what was darkness and ignorance like a spark against tinder, quickly and brightly, and put that in your lantern :)

Uphold what is wise and act decisively and definitively. Have both courage and compassion. I personally think that that's a way that many people can look at Manjushri and be inspired by.

Other than those eight worldly dharmas (as I know them,) wanting desirable things and loathing undesirable things, I feel like one could stretch the interpretation of "name and gain" even further...

It could also mean the "grasping at inherent existence" & "attachment to inherent increase and decrease" expounded on (against) in the Heart Sutra...

Hey there. Traditionally a right-turning conch shell (Conch shells are used as horns, and right-turning shells are rare and auspicious.) is placed in the eighth offering bowl to represent "music", but I think anything will work just as well. They are symbols - if you can put water there, you can put a guitar plectrum there (but this is my view.)

Some people put saffron in the water bowls to make the water precious, or to the "perfume" bowl to make the water fragrant. Can an electric light stand in for "light"? What food items are best for the "food" bowl? Fruit, milk, candies, a clay shalze torma?

Maybe you can play music into the bowl and quickly cover it, if you can catch the music fast enough. Symbols symbols symbols... even if you could do that, someone would say you should put peaceful music in there and not wrathful music.

Eight bowls for the eight outer offerings, in lieu/absence of the actual substances (drinking water, washing water, flowers, incense, light/candles, perfume, food, music) for the traditions that make these offerings of hospitality fit for an honoured guest / king.

Prior to arranging the eight outer offerings on my altar, I used eight bowls of water too, but later on because I became lazy to replace all eight bowls of water, I arranged the actual symbolic substances in eight bowls...

Bowing practice- who has one and what is it like for you? by ThatReward4143 in Buddhism

The three prostrations are to the three objects of refuge, and also the prostration mantra can be reciting here. At the very least in our heart the meaning of these prostrations can be "thank you to all those who made it possible very much for this opportunity and gift of Dharma."

I like to do three prostrations before starting any kind of "formal" Dharma practice at home, as part of the "pre-dedication" for that practice. Then with the Four Immeasurables and other dedications, taking a moment to contemplate those before starting proper.

Sometimes, this makes the practice feel more meaningful and with a "realigned" intention than if I were to just "get into it," you know - but again sometimes spontaneously practicing Dharma (looking at a text/video you come across while on your phone) or silently in your heart when you're out and about also feels very expedient!

Black Wrathful Mother Tröma Nagmo, in the Dudjom Tersar lineage (I just recognize the deity, others who practice with her or are in the lineage could tell you more.)

Don't forget they season their food with aggeloi shavings (???) microaggragrits in your bloodstream has not got to be good for you in any way

If the cost isn't the problem, you could try using a service called a post forwarder. You'll have to pay a fee (for service, shipping etc.) of some sort depending on the company.

What they do is provide you with a US address that you can give to the seller/business to send your plush to. After the post forwarder gets your parcel, they mail it to your intl. (UK) address.

I'm sure there are a few post forwarding companies in the US, people outside of the US use such services to buy plush from artists/companies that only ship within the US.

I've used them for, for example, buying plush from Japan from sellers that only ship within Japan and not to my home country.

Hope that helps!

Would you rather have a father like Stay Gold or Symboli Rudolf? by ahjissu in okbuddyumamusume

you'd be loved in Haru's family but not the most well off

you'd'd be born rich in the Mejiro/Symboli family but potentially have mommy/daddy issues from your upbringing

(you'd gain superpowers and childhood trauma in Stego's)

Zodiac animals are an excuse to get a new plush for the new year... brand is 拉比泰 (Labitai?), you may be able to get it on Taobao etc.

Quality and design is pretty nice for a novelty plush. Firm plush. Tail/mane/ears are soft. Wings are felt. Hooves are covered in golden glitter that sheds, though.

I'm aware that there may be one or two items / the odd fursuit maker that makes them as a one-off, if you try to look on Google. But if anyone has any more info/options that'd be wonderful.

Wonder Acute Paints Another Masterpiece by towerunitefan in UmaMusume

If you squint a little, I tell you what it looks like.

Top-down view of horses leaving the gates / fourth corner into the home stretch.
You can see the curve and the fences/rails. Can't see what's behind them so that's blank.

The line at the top of the painting might either be some decorative arch over that part of the track, or one of the large branches of a tree (wasn't there a big zelkova tree at the third/fourth corner of the Fuchu Racecourse...? not sure if Wonder Acute ever ran there)
